I had a friend take my dog to her appointment and he was told there was not an appointment. Rather than check to see what was going on, he was just simply sent away. When I called to ask why they didn't have my appointment, the person proceeded to deny we had the appointment. I had the calls saved and knew the exact time I called. She was very condescending calling me " sweetie" which was definitely not said in a genuine way. Finally she realized they scheduled the appointment for July. She said they schedule a month out. I was not told that over the phone. She said my appointment was for July 8th. Well, I scheduled for Thursday, June 8th. July 8th isn't a Thursday. My daughter heard the conversation where she said Thursday. I believe they made the mistake but would rather lie than to try and make it right. I run a business and this would be an example of the poorest customer service examples I'd present in a training session. I would never trust my pet in the care of such a nasty person. I'm surprised anyone would give business to such a unprofessional and mean person

On February 21st 2025, I dropped off my healthy 45lb, 6 month old Lab puppy at Ugly Dog / Wing and…read moreshot for 8 weeks of obedience and bird dog training, paying 2050$ in advance, as they requested. About 12 days later, they had to take him to their vet for extreme diarrhea. 9 days after that, I visited and he was very thin, weak, with bloody stool. He was too sick to train so I brought him home and took him to my vet. He had lost 6lbs and tested positive for GIARDIA, a contagious intestinal cyste, commonly found in unsanitary kennels. I called Ugly dog/Wing and shot and made them aware of this and politely told them I wasn't comfortable bringing my dog back to continue training. I left several messages with the receptionist for Fred Saber (the owner) to call me back about refunding the money I paid. After months of leaving messages he finally called me back and said he would issue a partial refund, keeping 1500$ because the weekly training and boarding fee is 500$ a week. So basically he wants to get paid for getting my dog sick and attempting to train him for less than half the time I paid for, even though the dog was so weak he could barely walk. His excuse is, I signed a contract that exempts him of any liability for anything that happens to the dogs people leave in his care

She literally was calm enough to lay down during class......The second class was a little different as she was acting like all she wanted to do was leave, jumping on the door. So the instructor asked my wife and my granddaughter to leave class with our dog, so she did. As she wouldn't learn anything acting like that anyway. So my wife got an e mail regarding "private classes", a 1on 1 sort of training with a proposed schedule that my wife couldn't commit to, so my wife e mailed back to relay that and ask for a prorated refund of the remainder of the $175 we paid and were told there will be no refund! So we paid $175 for 1 hour and 20 minutes of puppy class! Not the 6 hours we should have gotten. I think our pup had a rough couple of days prior to the last 20 minute class so in my eyes she should have been allowed to attend another group class to see how she would react but nope she was "kicked out" of puppy class. And for the private lessons we were asked not to bring our granddaughter. It seems that most dog trainers are bossy know it all types of people! So before spending good money for training classes her beware as you could loose a good amount of money of your pup has a bad day or two before class!

Not my favorite, seems a little harsh to their employees, place is mostly staffed by teenagersread more
