Pot fish was AMAZING!!! But we did wait over an hour to get our food

Pot fish and baked Mac and cheese was AMAZING!!! But food took over an hour to arrive

Salmon (fried) with seasoned rice

Was visiting a historical museum nearby and reviews were decent so decided to try it. Menu written on a white board was limited but sufficient. Despite warning from server that the jerk chicken was super spicy, my husband ordered it anyway and really liked it. He found it flavorful with a little heat. I enjoyed the seasoning on fried salmon and the seasoned rice. Side salad had cucumbers and tomatoes on it. Daughter enjoyed her fried red snapper fillet. It took a while for the food to cook but it was worth the wait to have the fish cooked fresh. Indoor dining area small and a few small tables outside. Due to new building owners this restaurant is looking for a new location or faces closing at the end of January, 2023.

Pot fish

My friend and I went to Kim's for lunch during our trip and it did not disappoint! The food was so delicious and the portions were just right. Other reviews said the service was slow but I thought our food came in a normal amount of time. Definitely a must eat if you're in St. Croix!

We went there the other night and this local restaurant was a delight. The service was personal and very enjoyable. Eat local.

Curry goat....sooooo darn good!

Having been on the island for a few days, my wife and I were generally eating at the resort we stayed at, much to our disapointment. However, we asked the locals and were told to go to Harvey's or Kim's...we chose Kim's. I had the curry goat, which was awesome, it was so tender and full of flavor. There are bones in it, so pick them out, but they add flavor, it is worth it. The seasoned rice was great, and even I ate the sweet potato, which I normally do not like. The house made hot sauce is a bit hot, so be careful, try a little first. My wife got the conch in butter sauce, which was the first time she had it...and she loved it. I don't eat seafood, but she described it as similar to scallops, but heartier. The service was slow but we did not care, because nobody goes to the Carribean to live a hurried life. Kim's is awesome, it is a small hole in the wall with fantastic food, and you need to try it if you come here.

Im a local back home since a long spell. My friend decided to try this for dinner. So far its been about 25 mins and all I have is a plastic tumbler of yap water So far, not looking good. Stayed tuned... Told y'all to stay tuned... So, we got the food about 30 mins later, by then we had greedily gobbled up the ice cold salad with the 2 choices of dressing..ranch and french..lol (neither our fav). My friend dying to greet, meet and eat this seafood combo got her meal on a plate served over a bed of white rice. See pic below. And I am too confident not to restrain from posting the price...you all ready? $32.00. Ill save my meal for another post. Because this meal deserves its own post for $32.00..Im done... BTW the prices arent posted, so. I guess? I dunno..picture time. Guys, I can make this dish in my kitchen

This is as real as it gets. A small place tucked away in the centuries old spaghetti streets of Christiansted that barely tolerate cars, but were definitely meant for nothing bigger than a horse. The butter conch blew my mind. It was the perfect nexus of flavors for this locale. The conch is an indigenous sea creature of these waters, and you will get it here served up in a delicious butter sauce with a side of perfectly seasoned creole rice. Mine came with a slab of sweet potato and a salad, but the side is variable apparently. As with creole anything, the flavors are generally meant to mix, so make sure to take a bite of rice, conch, and sweet potato together for the best flavor. For dessert, they carry Armstrong's ice cream, which comes from a 120 year old Ice cream parlor on the other side of the island. Armstrong's parlor is an experience in and of itself, but you can get a taste of it here to cleanse your palate and round out your perfect Crucian meal. The place is in the midst of downtown and surrounded by lots of old buildings. A great place to take in the feel of the island. Don't miss it.

Kingfish and White Rice

The butter conch was cooked to perfection. The season rice with conch made the entire dish tasty. The king fish was not that great. The white rice looked and tasted stale. Over the years, Kim's has aimed to please. I always left happy with good food and a Maubi. The king fish was very disappointing. We left it in the refrigerator and threw it out the next day. This plate cost 18.00 but wasn't worth the money. Stick with the conch, I' ll never have the king fish again.

Our "fancy dinner night" for our honeymoon that absolutely did not disappoint. Fortunately for us,…read morewe got a great table in the grotto, and we were warmly welcomed individually by all of the staff. Service from top to bottom was outstanding. Attentive without being overbearing. And then there's the food and drink. First off, I love red wine and once upon a time amassed a pretty legit 800+ bottle collection. They had gems from my cellar on the list! On an island in the middle of the Caribbean! What?! I've not seen Turley on a wine list outside of the mainland in a decade, for example. And they had 4 different Turley options. Including one by the glass. Amazing. The food matched everything that preceded it; simply outstanding and captured a sublime balance of island and haute cuisine. The Lazy Lobster crawled mercilessly into our bellies, melded with plush mashed potatoes and perfectly al dente asparagus and a delicate sauce. The Lamb Shank masterpiece, served over gnocchi and the most wonderful au jus, melted over the palate, delivering a resounding umami "whoa" tingle. Both paired beautifully with our wine selections. Dessert was a rum strawberry masterpiece, complimented by one of the best espresso martinis we've ever had, and a generous pour of Angel's Envy bourbon. One of the best meals of our lives, anywhere, and we've been to some of the best restaurants on the planet. Maybe it was the sea breeze, maybe it was kismet, but regardless, we loved it start to finish and highly recommend Savant. We're no idiots!

Around the back of the restaurant is a covered outdoor courtyard with lush plants, a full bar, and lots of seating (extra points for the fans, the air circulation is phenomenal). Next the service. Impeccable. Every person that we encounter from the host, the bar tender and the waitress were so very friendly. I appreciated the recommendations that they had to offer on food and drinks (because everything looked so good). Some of the best service I've had on the island so far. Now finally, the FOOD!! You could tell it's was going to be good just from how the staff spoke about it. We had three appetizers (lobster egg rolls, ceviche, and calamari). Each were very unique and flavorful, great size for sharing, everything you hope for in good appetizers. For my entree I was torn between many different things, but with the help of staff I decided to go with the bacon wrapped double pork chop. And WOW I'm so happy I did. I always fear with pork chops of a dry, hard to chew meal but this was far from reality. The cut of meat was so juicy and easy to cut and chew. The flavor was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. For dessert I decided to go with a classic vanilla rum cake and it was perfect. I loved Savant, it was an experience from start to finish. 10000/10 recommend that you try this restaurant when on St. Croix!

And that's what led me to Rum Runners. I'm telling you, this place really captures the island vibe. Great selection of music playing in the background waterfront table seating, very open and airy. This place is definitely a slice of Island heaven When you go, you really need to ask for Jake. Such a good server, excellent tableside manners, and just a good guy. Offers suggestions, and is just a pleasure to have as a server. Can't recommend him enough! My go-to meal at this place is the American breakfast which is eggs, your choice of bacon or sausage, toast,.. I always go for the bacon. And you absolutely, 100% must try the Barons hot sauce. Don't worry, it's not that hot but it's super flavorful and I'm ordering a bottle to take home with me! You definitely need to try a cocktail while you were there. Look, you're on vacation, it's okay to have a cocktail at 9:00 in the morning. You can enjoy the scenery while they cook your breakfast. If you look close enough you might see a crab or two. Trying to saddle up next to you. Looking for bits of food on the ground. I'm telling you, listening to the water lap against the rocks. Looking out over the pristine Blue Ocean, combined with a great playlist of music. Makes for a morning adventure. You will not soon forget. Forget. I have not tried lunch or dinner there, next time I come back I may just eat all three meals there. Bottom line you have to check this place out! You're in the island man so don't run anywhere. Take it slow, have a drink, kick back and enjoy the scenery. You can't do much better than Rum Runners on the boardwalk.

I discovered this gem of a bar & restaurant called KT TOUCH * Food & Drinks . KT TOUCH is a bar that offers local seafood dishes, as well as chicken and pork and of course, they have a full bar available to make any drink possible. Being they appear to be heavily influenced by the Santo Dominican culture, they also carry mamajuana and it's pretty solid! I recommend giving it a shot! You can see KT TOUCH from the road and it basically just appears to be a shack with a small canopy seating area and a separate kitchen. They also have porta*potties behind the bar area. The service is friendly, but there is often a slight language barrier because the wait-staff is proficient in Spanish; but they know enough English to take orders and it's definitely not a dealbreaker. Parking is simple & easy to access and it doesn't seem too crowded during my visit. I love the Latin vibes with the music playlist and the ambiance had me feeling like I was in some bar on the side of the road in the Dominican Republic Food was tasty and seasoned well. I recommend their fish plates and I highly recommend their sancocho (a hearty soup that's packed with goodness and great for sobering up). Sancocho isn't easy to find on island, so it makes this place a gem and easy to access. Overall, I really liked KT TOUCH Food & Drinks and the only thing that's a slight bother are the mosquitos in their open-patio seating, but that's really just part of island life I recommend checking this spot out!
