I spent a good amount of time yesterday and this morning chopping it down with my miter saw to usable lengths. I am attaching photos of a typical piece (a few are near 30"). I'm also disappointed in the quality of the load. It looks like this mainly came from the scrap pile as most of the pieces are outer chunks or burl. I've cut a lot of wood in my 61 years of life and no what is scrap and what is not. In retrospect, I should have not accepted the load but it was off the truck before I had time to inspect it (the guy was in a tremendous hurry).

Prices are inline with most every one else. Scoop is listed as equivalent to 3 wheel barrels and it was dead on. I unloaded my truck and it was 3 level wheel barrels exactly. Some of the pieces where to long for my stove but most are 16-18" in length. Did the measurement and if you get a scoop it calculates out to .1 cords so if you can go with the 1/2 or whole cord for a much better buy. The old business use to give military and veterans a 10% discount but the person that helped me was not the regular office person so when I asked they didn't know if they offered any discounts and I paid full price. May come back for 2 cords if it burns well in my wood stove and if they still give a military discount.
