I found 2 flower shops in my area. I was looking for a Haku (Flower Crown) for my daughters senior night. She wanted red and white flowers. The 1st store I went to quoted an outrageous price. But I was so disappointed and pissed off and frustrated with the way my bridal bouquet turned out Picked up my bouquet about 415ish the Friday before I got married and I was told to put them in the fridge when I get to my venue. Which was only a 45 min drive. So I put them in the fridge. And the next day when my photographer got to my venue she asked for my bouquet to take the pictures and I pulled them out of the fridge and they looked like this my Lillie's were all yellow and brown. The roses and babies breath were falling out of the bouquet. Pedals from the roses were falling onto the floor. It was my big day and I couldn't even use my bouquet I'm still so disappointed with this. When I get back into town I plan on calling the shop for a refund. read more

There customer service is wonderful. I went in to conduct my business with them. The clerk was very nice and gave her condolences. Later that day the manager called me to verify the order, again very nice. Unfortunately on the day of my father's funeral the flowers I ordered were wilted and disheveled. They were the right arrangements but the presentation was awful. Luckily family had donated a few other flower arrangements that were beautiful. It's so sad when you put your trust into a small local business and they just didn't get it right. These other arrangements came from Corona CA and LA area and still looked fresh. Such an embarrassment to have local florist deliver such awful looking flowers to my father's funeral. I can't believe I paid over $500 for this! We ordered an expensive arrangement for Mother's Day, which was to include several pink roses, amongst other pink and white flowers. The arrangement that was delivered, while pretty, contained NO ROSES at all. It was mainly carnations and baby's breath. I consider this to be fraud. I was upset to hear that a friend of my grandmothers ordered her flowers for Valentine's Day. My grandmother just got out of the hospital and her friend wanted to do something nice for her. The delivery man refused to deliver to her door because she lives in a gated community. His excuse is that he had other customers who want their flowers. It's sad that people choose to treat senior citizens this way. She is a person, she is a customer. She is also on an oxygen tank, and couldn't meet him at the gate. It took more time arguing on the phone with them then it would have to just bring them to her door. It would have taken three minutes, instead she got nothing. So my husband was out of state for my birthday so he decided to order my favorite flowers ( pink roses and sunflowers). He went to the florist that he knows in town and she called and placed the order for him. So the flowers were there when I got to work and they were nothing like he ordered and it hasn't even been a week and they are almost all dead, I have never had flowers start to die on me the next day. I placed an online order for an arrangement for my dad's memorial service. The day before the service they told me my original order never went through, so needing flowers for the very next day I placed another order and even paid more for the rush. At the memorial service...surprise I had 2 exact orders, and of course, charged twice. After numerous calls from me and the mortuary, no one would accept responsibility and I had to pay twice. God forbid they lose some profit one order, and being totally rude and over talking me on the phone. Worst customer service ever.The mortuary felt so bad for the mixup the florist made they reimbursed me. I cannot thank Kern Mortuary of Hesperia enough for going above and beyond to make this terrible time in our lives as smooth as possible. My husband purchased flowers for me for our anniversary. They were delivered at 10:30 am and by 4:00 pm the same day the roses had already wilted and the stems were drooping and the purple asters were all brown around the outside edges. I called my husband and told him who in turn called Hesperia Florist to advise them that some of the flowers in the arrangement were already wilting and dying. He said the owner was very nice and agreed to bring me new flowers the next morning. The following day, the delivery person came about 11:30 am to exchange the arrangement. The security guard came to look for me and I was not at my desk. She then looked in the break room and the restroom and could not find me. (I work in a large office) She offered to take the flowers on my behalf and the driver said she had to speak to me personally. The security guard then told the delivery person that I must be at lunch. The driver then stated she would come back a little bit later. The flower shop then called my husband and said that I was nowhere to be found and if he wanted the flowers exchanged, I would need to take them myself to the flower shop for an exchange. He said that was unacceptable and told them he would like them to deliver them again as he had just spoken to me and confirmed I was at work and this is what they said they would do. (the flower shop is .06 miles from my work) The woman refused. He then asked for his money to be refunded as the flowers were already dying and he was told he would need to speak with the owner and she was not there at this time. He asked that she call him when she got in. At 2:15 I called the florist back as I had not heard back from anyone and new flowers had not been delivered. I reached the owner. She said she was going to exchange them for me the day before when my husband originally called but then said since my husband was rude that she was no longer going to deliver them to me, I had to come and get them. I told her that that was horrible customer service I asked her if she quoted my husband a time that she would be there to exchange the flowers and she said no, she can't quote a specific time. I then asked then how was I supposed to know when you would arrive? I also told her that the receptionist offered to get the other arrangement from my desk and the driver told her no, she needed to see me. The owner then said it must have been a misunderstanding then and said, ok, how about this, I will bring you new flowers and send my delivery person to come and get the other flowers and I will refund your money because of the miscommunication and problems. I said that would be wonderful! Within 5 minutes the delivery driver was there and said she was in the area and was picking up the flowers. I asked her where the new flowers were and she said she was going to get them and come right back. I asked her if I need to sign anything and she said, only when I deliver the new flowers. She said this in front of the security guard and the receptionist. An hour later I called the flower shop again and the owner answered. I asked her when they would be delivering the new flowers and she said, I am not delivering new flowers to you! I refunded your money and I didn't have to do that! Why would I give you new flowers! I reminded her that an hour before she agreed to exchange the flowers and refund the money. I told her that I also spoke to the delivery driver who said she would be coming back with new flowers and she said she never said that and if I want more flowers I would have to pay for them! I reminded her that I never asked her to exchange the flowers AND refund my money, all I wanted was an exchange, she offered to do both. She insisted she never said that and refused to bring new flowers. During both conversations she was raising her voice at me and interrupting me. At one point I said to her, you keep interrupting me and I asked her to let me know when she was ready to let me speak. I told her that I have never received such horrible customer service from a business and I was appalled that she would agree to do something in order to rectify a situation and then act as though she never said that. I said I can't believe as a business owner you would argue with a customer over them not being satisfied that they paid $60 for flowers and the flowers were dying the same day the arrangement was delivered. I told her I would be writing a review on YELP, Victor Valley News Group on FB and contacting the BBB as I was provided such horrible customer service. She then told me she would report me. To what, I am not sure. I would advise NEVER to do business with Hesperia Florist as they provide you with dying flowers then blame you when you want to exchange them. This was a last minute same day delivery that I placed on their website. I went with the quick and easy preset arrangement that is offered from all most every florist. I order the "Premium" which was the biggest and most flowers that could fit in the Happy face cup. I paid the $20 upcharge and excepted what was shown on their website. I placed my order at 11:30am, I had to call them at 4pm to check to see if the flowers had been deliver yet. The answer was "No, but we are heading out to do delivered in just a bit". I ask if they could please get the flowers there before 5pm due to the fact that my mom was being pick up to take her out to dinner and I didn't want her to miss the surprise of receiving flowers. They did get the flowers there in time (of course they are only 2 blocks away from my mom's home). So they did a great job at getting them there by the time I ask and had to call about. I am upset that I paid for the "Premium"$20more and my mom received the "Standard". I emailed them from their email on their website, but it came back to me "unable to deliver". I am debating whether I should call or stop by, not sure what their response will be. I have posted both pictures with this comment. This week I ordered flowers from Hesperia florist or (AKA) Avas Florist. I expressed the importance of this special day as it was my nephews funeral. I ordered the top of the line premium flowers for the casket as well as two standing bouquets. to my disappointment when I got to the church, the flowers were pathetic looking to say the least. It was embarrassing but little too late to do anything about it. They charged me for premium and sent the smallest bouquets I've ever seen. I was specific as to the type of flowers and was assured it will look like that. this place took advantage of us and embarrassed the family. Other flowers that were sent to the church by other family members and purchased elsewhere were large and beautiful. I wish I knew where they bought them. since I bought ours online, I was deceived. look elsewhere to buy your flowers especially if it is a special occasion. read more
