The real estate pictures are what sell a house in my opinion. I sold my home with Kimo Quance realty in 2020 and often show people my real estate pictures of my former home. The comments I get about how amazing the pictures are is wild. I even had several people ask if my home was staged and if that was a true sky in my outdoor photos. Anthony Grimm's attention to angles & details (placement of furniture, pillows, linens, etc.) are just a little extra that he puts into his craft. He spent hours on helping me move furniture and making sure my home looked its best. His crisp and colorful photos are impeccable. read more

4 years ago we wrote a review about our choice to use The Quance Group as we sold our house. Amazing experience. 2 years later we went back and had Kimo as our buying agent. The results were the same. We were living out of the state at this time and even decided to put in an offer after a FaceTime video tour by Kimo. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide us with all of the answers. The difference with him is that he listens to exactly what you want which targets your search and provides better and more accurate selection of available properties so you can get on an opportunity quickly in a fast moving market. He has deep relationships in the industry and is well respected so the process with the other realtor is very smooth. There is really no other choice for your real estate needs. read more

When the time came for my wife and I to begin our house search, we had no prior experience. Upon a great recommendation, we chose Kimo Quance and his amazing team at the Quance Group Realty. They went above and beyond to help us find a home that fit all our needs, and most importantly - our budget! Our agent from Kimo's team, Christa Curtin was a pleasure to work with! She took the time to fully understand our priorities and requirements. She was fully invested in our goals and was extremely patient. She was kind, courteous, professional, punctual and most importantly - highly knowledgeable! We would highly recommend the Quance Realty Group to anyone looking to buy or sell their home! read more

There is no one else I would go to for buying or selling a home. We sold our home with Kimo and he made the process simple and direct. He gave us valuable information about the market and resolved all of our concerns. We needed several services such as landscaping, minor repairs, and staging, all of which he had contacts for. The work was done quickly and beautifully. When we walked through after everything, the house was so beautiful that I didn't want to sell it. Obviously, we did, but with Kimo's extensive marketing and home field advantage, it sold faster and for more than I hoped. What I also loved is that he was responsive. If we needed something, he either answered his phone or the call went to a team member who could help us. We also worked with Lorraine through closing and she made the process quick and easy. She was easy to talk with and made the experience a very positive one. We moved out of the area so we weren't able to buy with him, but if we move back to anywhere near SD, there would be no question about calling him. When we were ready to buy again (in another state), we called Lorraine for a referral and she got us to a realtor we also love working with. If you work with Kimo and his team, you will get the type of service that raises the bar for everyone else in the future. read more

I've worked with Tad Murroughs (agent) over the past few years looking for a home in San Diego, as well as putting it right back on the market. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to sell my property right away. As soon as I reached out to Tad he was on it, extremely supportive and didn't hesitate. The entire team has always been incredible. Lorene Pearcy, the Closing Manager, always kept me up to date with escrow. Even if it there were hiccups along the way, the team was transparent throughout the process and always kept me in the loop. I can't value this team enough. They were not only there for me throughout this business transaction, but they went above and beyond to support me personally. They definitely have your six (military lingo for having your back). Both Tad and Lorene are stellar human beings and I would recommend this team to anyone looking to buy or sell in San Diego. Thank you again for such extraordinary customer service, definitely established and built personable relations! Love ya'll!! read more

I have recently had the opportunity to work with Kimo. I could not have more confidence in his knowledge of the real estate market currently and projected. His work ethic made me feel like I was his top priority and made he question when he sleeps Kimo is professional, well spoken and extremely prepared. In a short meeting he informed us of our listing options, indicated pros and cons, made objective recommendations (like a mind reader) then allowed us to make a decision on what option we would like to take. You can't fake honesty and being forthright, he built this authentically with us from the moment we sat down with him. I would not seek out another professional for any of my real estate needs! read more

My husband and I were blown away with the service Kimo and his team provided. We appreciated how Kimo explained each step to us and what we could expect to happen next. Kimo is very quick at getting back to you and making sure everything is taken care of. The team was also great at answering all of our questions which did mean some early and late calls on the weekend. We are so happy with the whole process and how everything turned out that if we sell or buy another home, there is no question we would use Kimo and his team again. I recommend Kimo to everyone I know! read more

Kimo is a straight shooter, and he works hard to find you what you want. He showed us any property we asked to see that was available. I was out of state to start the process of home buying and Kimo still regularly called to check in and answer any questions I had. During the process of closing our home, Kimo was responsive and helped guide us through as first time home buyers. He was honest (and right) when I asked his advice about how hard we should push the sellers on certain items, and ultimately we closed on a perfect home with his help without any issues. Thanks Kimo and Lorene, we're super excited to be in our new home! read more

I would give this guy zero stars! Do not use him to sell your home. He will pawn you off to his staff and not be present for any part of the sale. He will not guide you and he will not keep your best interest in mind. All he wants is the money from the sale and he doesn't care how he gets it. Well, he will have his staff do it for him. I just wanted to say thank you to the Kimo Quance team, most especially to Alison Fenn!  Alison has been an instrumental part of this process from the time we discussed on selling our home. She was there ready to help guide us through and gave us that peace of mind from the beginning. We had a plan  of when we where selling our home and a tight timeline into our new build. When our timeline got pulled in, I panicked and called Alison to sell my house "now" as the construction was ahead of schedule. That was on a Tuesday afternoon when I made that panicked call and her team was on my doorstep the next day. It was a whirlwind as anybody would expect going through one of the most stressful decisions/transactions in selling one's home. Panicked call Tuesday, accepted and signed the next Tuesday! In a week Alison and team took pictures, edited, live MLS and open house and found the offer for our home! We are so pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Alison Fenn and the Kimo Quance team for making this such an effortless and wonderful experience for our family! read more

Kimo recently helped us purchase our first home. At our first meeting, he came in and presented us his resume, which blew us away! Kimo demonstrated from the beginning that he understood he was working for us. As first time homebuyers, he educated us on the entire home buying process. No question ever went unanswered, no concern unheard. Kimo has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We got into a home we love, in the neighborhood we wanted, and (because of Kimo's negotiating skills) we were able to get our house for under asking! Kimo has earned our business for life! Kimo is top notch! Last year he helped me secure a cash flowing duplex before it even hit the market! Better yet, I puchased the duplex for under the appraised value!! Kimo is by far the most professional and truly the best realtor we have ever worked with. On a consistent basis Kimo has gone above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of. Kimo made the process of selling our home in Escondido and the purchase of our new in the San Diego area worry free. He always answered our questions honestly and worked very hard to find us the perfect home. Kimo gets 5 stars across the board!!!! I have known Kimo for a number of years and he has always been driven and hard working. My first home purchase was before Kimo became an agent unfortunately, but seeing how hard an agent has to work for you, Kimo's work-ethic will be great in such a competitive market. I am in the market for a new home within the next year and the newsletters he sends out are very helpful, and the videos he made had me widen my search area to now include East County. Initially I wasn't thinking I would move out to East County as it was so far away from all the things to do, when it actually wasn't. Plus I didn't know the area had so many things to offer, La Mesa is where I am actually thinking now thanks to Kimo. read more

Kimo is a true professional and a master of his craft. He helped us sell our home in just a few days for over asking price. Stephani Toups was my agent during my first time buying a condo. She was so incredibly amazing! She was always available, always answered my silly questions and helped me through this new scary process as a first time home buyer. When I had a mental breakdown during the process wondering if buying a home was right for me, Stephani was right there reassuring me that everything is normal and stepped into problem solving mode immediately. I always felt safe, secure and taken care of by Stephani. Stephani also did an excellent job negotiating the price of the condo and getting me extras. The place had a small kitchen flood during escrow and Stephani was able to negotiate with the seller to allow me to pick out my own flooring, paint color and new granite counter tops. All upgrades, at essentially no cost to me! I highly recommend Stephani and her team! They are so great! read more

We just had the privilege of working with Kimo and his team. When we first decided to put our family home on the market we were incredibly skeptical and not trustworthy of a real estate agent or the process of selling our home. The first time we met Kimo he was incredibly patient, open, and honest towards all of the questions we asked. Think hot seat. He never rushed us, answered every question fully and went above and beyond to make sure we were confident in him. Now that we have closed, I wish I would have known then what I know now, and all of my anxieties would be gone. Kimo and his staff were always available to answer any questions we had, even if we called multiple times. They kept us up to date throughout the entire process and I never once felt like anything less than a priority. If you are looking for a real estate agent please just stop your search and go with Kimo. He is fantastic. read more

DO NOT USE THIS REALTOR Kimo represented me when trying to purchase a home recently and after using 12-15 different realtors in the past, I can say without hesitation that he is the WORST realtor I have ever came across due to the following reasons and experiences: -Lied to 5 different times blatantly and he tried to backtrack on 3 of them but it was too late -Does not pay attention, always on his phone and too busy when in the moment, even saw him looking at Facebook instead of listening during our meeting -Told him the maximum offer price I could do and he wrote it for $15K more two different times after communicating it repeatedly, then a better offer came in and the seller chose that one instead after verbally committing to mine because Kimo took 2 weeks to get the offer written correctly -Ignores phone calls, then replies with texts; one time texted two minutes later on a Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. saying he was still in bed but would call me later and then never did; every other realtor I know is at an open house or working hard on the weekends, which are their important days of the week -Told me he did not submit my counteroffer that day because he was "going hard" that night at the Chargers game, did not even apologize for the delay and was completely inappropriate -Did not have the nerve to call and tell me I did not get the home after being told 99.9% sure it was mine, instead sent a brief unapologetic email -Ignored my request to submit my offer as a backup afterwards -Same house came back on the market after falling out of escrow, did not even let me know when it did, and now it already has another accepted offer Kimo needs to stop worrying so much about his YouTube videos and showing where to eat and shop in East County and instead concentrate on learning how to be a realtor. Please reply to this review if you want more information about my experience or copies of his emails or text messages read more

When we first decided we wanted to sell our home, I began the search for the BEST agent for the job. We had many referrals, and also interviewed several agents. I believe this is the wisest way to hire an agent. From our very first contact, it was clear who was the most diligent, competent, and the most qualified, Kimo Quance. He was extremely proactive, right from the start. Kimo called me on the phone while other agents emailed. Then, he followed up with a written card in the mail which showed me that he is proactive and organized and had excellent marketing skills; all necessary qualities in a quality agent. He was willing to meet with us before our house was ready to sell and advise us on what we could do to get top dollar for our house. He made suggestions based on what would help us get the best return on investment, and we appreciated his thoughtful recommendations. His contract is flexible and even includes a clause that allows the seller to cancel representation if you aren't satisfied. That is how much he stands behind his work! We were impressed. His professional photographer and videographer produced excellent images of our home, attracting many buyers on a multitude of websites. He had some unique sales strategies that helped our house sell for more than we expected and extremely fast too! We had 2 offers within days on the market, and one of those was full priced! What more could we ask for!? In addition, we had around 20 showings in 2 weeks, so people were lined up to see our house! Our listing was #1 on Zillow for our area during the whole time the house was active. He really got the word out about our house because he uses many resources to effectively advertise himself and his properties. This is critical when hiring an agent. I am absolutely certain that we would have not gotten the same results with another agent. In addition, the entire process was streamlined like a flawless, well-oiled machine. We received prompt communication in regards to negotiating all of the terms of the sale, and all of the documentation was done electronically online. It was very simple and fast. We also received regular updates and communication from Kimo himself and his office staff. I never felt that I couldn't get ahold of them; everyone was very prompt to answer any questions that came up during the process. He went above and beyond the call of duty, even compensating for our buyer's agent several times, when the other end wasn't doing things properly. It is obvious why Kimo Quance is such a great success; he works tremendously hard to be the best at what he does! He rises to the top because of his dedication, professionalism, and expertise. If I were to sell or buy another home in the area, I would be using Kimo again in a heartbeat. I have already recommended him to friends and I will continue to do so. Thank you, Kimo Quance Group! read more

Kimo was one of the best parts of our home buying process. From the first meeting to the day we closed escrow, he made us feel like a top priority and was in constant communication with us. Kimo made himself readily available for our first time home buyer needs; whether it was to answer a quick email, jump on a phone call or get us in to see a home in this fast paced market. It also seemed as if he has a good working relationship with other agents in this industry. With every house we looked at he was able to get in touch with the sellers agent and provided us with important property details that we may have over looked if it had not been thanks to him. At every point in our home buying processed Kimo made sure that we were making well informed decisions. I'm so glad we trusted him and are now looking forward to moving into our new home. Kimo is the BEST!! He's one of the top realtors in San Diego County. He always responded timely to any of our questions. He gave us tips on how to best prepare our house for sale. He did an AWESOME job marketing. Once it was listed, everything went crazy - in a good way! We ended up having over 70 people come and see the house in a four day period and it sold for $35,000 over asking price. Just closed on the sale of my mom's house in Spring Valley, with Kimo as our realtor. Having lived in the same home for decades, my mom was very nervous about selling, but Kimo made sure it was a great experience. He was attentive to our concerns, always responsive and easy to reach no matter the time or day of the week. Kimo was patient, forthright, and very professional. From our first meeting it was clear that he did his homework; he's super-knowledgeable about the market, and has cultivated relationships throughout the local real estate community, which made it very easy to find the right buyers for my mom's home. The bottom line is he knows how to get the job done! Kimo was great to work with and I'd recommend him highly to anyone looking for a great realtor in San Diego. read more

I'll start from the beginning. Myself and another family had decided we wanted to buy a ranch with a few acres at the beginning of 2016. As a Santee resident I had heard of Kimo, looked up his reviews, and recommended we utilize his real estate services. Little did he know what he was getting into at the time. We started out looking at properties in Alpine. Almost a year later, we had looked at properties in Alpine, Jamul, Harbison Canyon, Lakeside, Descanso, Campo, El Cajon, you name it. When a property was listed, and even before it was listed Kimo would let us know. Many hours were spent by Kimo meeting us at some remote east San Diego ranch in his jeep, walking those ranches. Throughout that process Kimo was prompt, informative, and we never felt rushed into buying a property. I'm pretty sure we set the record with Kimo for properties viewed before buying. We did find a few we liked, put in some offers, have the property inspected, only to have the deal fall through because of a cash buyer or the property failing inspection. So Kimo recommended we get the property in Santee sold, so we wouldn't have to go in as a contingency buyer. So that's what we did. The Santee home went up for sale. Before it was listed, Kimo had buyers looking at the property. Once it was listed, it took less then a week to have multiple offers above asking price. Kimo's knowledge of the east county area helped price the Santee property perfectly to where we knew in advance what it was going to sell for and how quickly. With the Santee home sold, we really had to find a property. After looking nearly everywhere in San Diego, we decided to look at a 10 acre ranch in Ramona. It is there that we found our ranch. We put in our offer, got it accepted quickly, and within a month we were living "up the hill". A couple months later we had our housewarming and Kimo and his family were there. If you're looking to buy or sell real estate in east county San Diego I would recommend you start by calling Kimo and his team. From personal experience, he is willing to visit as many properties as it takes to find the perfect one. If you're selling he will sell the property fast and at a price probably above asking. Throughout the process he was professional, punctual, and attentive to our needs. Kimo, thank you for all your hard work over the year. It was a long process, but we finally found our perfect ranch in Ramona. You are not only an awesome real estate professional but a friend now as well. See you up the hill. read more
