Have gone from Cleveland Ohio to Islamorada in the past. Anyway to make a long story short I pass by this veterinary office almost every day and after setting my gps to the keys decided to stop in...... it is a neat clean facility which is a definite plus. People are caring but the proof is in the doctors.... issue was diagnosed quickly and professionally ...... I was impressed and brought my second dog in the same day so they could start a record on him. Now I have my Georgia vet and my keys vet. Welllll got to say they are the best. My Shepard developed a huge cyst that I noticed at 4:00. This cyst was huge,had come to a head and was bleeding. I called them at 4 pm expecting to be told it was late and call tomorrow..... how wrong I was. They said come in as fast as you can. She was examined and the cyst was excised within the hour..... the doctor said he felt draining the cyst would be painful to the dog and suggested a twilight sleep. The whole thing from start to finish took an hour. Three days later all swelling is gone, her skin is normal in color and my dog and I are both happy. Can't say enough good things about this animal hospital......... THEY ARE THE BEST

Went in with complaint of 10 year old dog not wanting to climb the stairs any longer..Consulted…read morewith vet , he asked if i would be ok to have her exrayed, I said of course! He said come back in a hour which i did. He consulted with me again, this time too tell me ALL the things they did to my dog..... shots, 100.00 shot of long lasting antibiotic( of which there was NO infection!!!!) His diagnosis was that she has arthritis on one side of hip. He also decided to clean her anal glands. ( Now I would have been happy to have him do that HAD HE ASKED! ) Also he gave her a very expensive antibody treatment ( can be dangerous!) for another 100.00. and then pain meds ..and then he started her on an 8 week treatment of shots for something else which i have chosen not to continue. Well, close to 600.00 at the checkout counter, needless to say i am still flabbergasted!!! I knew Id be spending a couple of hundred, but this was unheard of. It was MY RIGHT to know exactly what I was going to be charged before he practiced on my dog. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. In dogs for 45 years and never have I been through such treatment! BEWARE!!!
