Dr. Ronan was the third pulmonologist I sought care from and have never looked back. She's EXTREMELY smart, up-to-date on all current medical research, spends so much time with each patient, and is genuinely invested in your well-being and health. I have a habit of googling and researching my symptoms and diagnoses and this is not always received well by other doctors I've had. However, Dr. Ronan encourages me to do this, as she knows the patient is an expert on their own bodies, so she wants to take into consideration any possible theories you may have about what's going on. In addition to Dr. Ronan, her staff are amazing. Her MA is quick and responsive. They have the prior authorization process down and will work to challenge insurance companies if initially given a denial. I've told Dr. Ronan that I literally owe her my life. She brought me back from the lowest point in my life, due to chronic illness, to a place where I can live a happy, healthy, "normal" life of a 42 year old. She never gave up, even though my conditions were complex and took a lot of trial and error, and was along side me through everything. Everyone deserves a doctor like Dr. Ronan!

I called the office and Maggie the scheduler, was able to get me in to see Dr. Bridgett Ronan in a few days. The office assisted me in having my CT scan results sent to their office prior to my visit. Once I arrived at the office they checked my temperature before I entered the lobby, ensuring the safety of all patients present in the waiting area. Kasia, the doctor's assistant checked my vitals and gave me a brief pulmonary function test. She was very friendly but also very efficient. Shortly after I was checked into the room, Dr. Ronin arrived and explained my CT scan in great detail. She was warm and friendly at the same time very professional. She not only explained the results of my CT scan, she showed me the images and how she arrived at her determination. She took a lot of time explaining my condition and I felt very confident in her advice. She did deliver good news but I must say that even if she were giving me not such good news, she would have done it in a very detailed and compassionate way. I will be followed by Dr. Ronin for the foreseeable future to monitor my condition, and I really look forward to seeing her again. I'm 61 years old and Dr. Ronin is one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a very knowledgeable, educated, warm and compassionate doctor.

Pulmory means lungs - plus their relationship with other internal organs…read more I arrived with family members for a family member appointment. I am an outsider. When I heard a client rip loose with a lung-shredding, lifetime of smoking cough I knew why they wete here. The sound also triggered lost memories of the days when coughs like that were common, days before the technologies and materials were around for easier, longer lives. I also remember my grandfather, 3 pack a day smoker, a top shelf in a tiny bedroom storage closet with Parliament cartons ready to be cracked open and burned stick by stick. He learned smoking in the bars of East St. Louis where sandwiches were a nickel and cigarettes in bowls free for smoking. His living room ash tray, knee high bronze color with a round amber color ash tray was a perfect prop for a toddler learning to walk - and taste everything. Nicotine is very bitter. We did not arrive for my grandfather's lungs. You are not interested in my memories. This is a modern, monster practice. I di not know if they are all here but Nancy, administrative anchor told me 26 physicians practice iunder the Arizona Pulmonary banner. A bit of a line checking in, a room full of clients and helpful staff behind the reception desk. Lots of record-keeping tablet computer check in devices were handed out. After about 15 minutes we were shown to an exam room. Dr. Lessler was our Specialist. Deeply knowledgeable, able to recite the facts of the case like a PhD defending a deeply technical dissertation, she summed up every aspect of the family medical issue. Arizona Pulmonary is a beehive of special roles. And the dispensing of medical care is governed by insurance companies. And dispensing of care in the practice requires appointments with various specialist assistants. Sprometry, Blood oxygen level walking testers, no wheelchairs or rollators allowed! Oxygen helps our family member breathe. Their blood oxygen level is too high for any medical insurance approval, arrangement of equipment, delivery, etc. Oxygen helps our family member, blood oxygen levels teetering above the magical 88%. We want to find them oxygen, paying out of pocket. We worked through that issue. Family member schefuled fir a walking test in 2026, a recommendation for O2 - Self Pay only, No Insurance. We were offered a medical rquipment company referral, with delivery. That triggered a memory of a 1940's cartoon where a chsracter got a bill. Their eyeballs rolled like slot machine rolls - printed with giant dollar signs. Please, leave the driving to us! Self pay does not mean bottomless pay. Everyone in this practice knows their role. Roles are very clear. A client may visit many role players during visits. That's fine. Prescription scripts were flashed across the internet..As we got close to home, a text informed us they were ready. A "lower your cost" link in the message took the co-pay from $49 to $9. Nancy printed an O2 script I received after a five minute wait. Dr. Lessler was a fountain of knowledge. Life moves on. Back in January.

Finally when it did arrive the kit did not work. This was frustrating as well as all the phone calls needed to just get the test kit. Understandably, I cancelled my follow up appointment and tried explaining my reasoning on their web contact form. Apparently this upset them! As a retired Medical Doctor I highly recommend steering clear of this place. It is very disorganized and should you choose to still go there, be prepared for problems.

They scheduled my appointment for 1/26 but that was cancelled by them and rescheduled for 2/1. You'll need the full 30 min to do this. When I met with Erin, she took her time to explain everything to me and was very patient and answered all of my questions. This is the type of care I expect when I see a medical professional and I was so happy to see that these types of medical professionals still exist. I also had to have a chest x-ray and a blood draw and the nurses helping me were super nice and joked around with me, which I liked. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an administrative staff at a medical practice. It's a shame since I believe the nurses and medical providers here are good. I brought my own medical records and symptom history--but the back-office staff refused to review any of it. The allergist interrupted me repeatedly, minimized everything I tried to share, and essentially accused me of exaggerating or lying about my symptoms--even while I was visibly unwell in the exam room. Sadly, a family member of mine had a similarly disturbing experience at this same office. It seems they are not equipped--or willing--to handle patients with complex medical histories. At one point during my visit, after the allergist left and the nurse rushed out, I overheard him ask her within about a minute, "...they're still here?" I felt humiliated and walked out. The allergist questioned why I even came and made it clear he wouldn't help me. It was a traumatic and degrading experience. Their refusal to listen, document, or take basic steps to assess my condition is not just unprofessional--it's dangerous. Afterward, I looked at their Yelp and Google reviews and saw others report nearly identical experiences: being rushed, dismissed, and treated with disrespect by both doctors and staff. This does not feel like a legitimate allergy or pulmonary clinic. My family and I will never return. Please advocate for yourself and seek care elsewhere. Your health is too important to be treated like this.

A SCAM! A TOTAL RIPOFF! AVOID AT ALL COST! Having a progressive lung disease (COPD, severe…read moreemphysema), I was looking at anything that could help, sans a very risky lung transplant. I found this company/woman on the internet claiming to do stem cell therapy for lung reparation, using one's own stem cells through a process known as PRP (Platelet-rich plasma). They claimed to have a success rate of over 85% and had tons of testimonials (obviously, that only they could provide). After a convincing sales pitch, and their willingness to drop $5.000 off of their $15,000 rate (double-dose), I decided to make the drive to Arizona and have the procedure done. The first in April 2018, the second in July of 2018. As it turns out, PRP has nothing to do with Stem Cells and is clinically defined as thus "Platelet-rich plasma, also known as autologous conditioned plasma, which is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells. The current claim is... evidence for lung benefit is poor with PRP. Approximately 1 1/2 years ago, the FDA finally approved the use of Umbilical Cord stem cells. Interestingly, the company changed their website and now refers to their treatment as "Cellular Lung Treatment". Needless to say, I received absolutely no benefit from the treatments while losing $10,000 in the process. I'm still contemplating a law-suit against these thieves as I compose this note. Now that Umbilical Cord stem cell therapy is legal here in the US, the companies that deliver these treatments must be FDA approved. If you look up the Lung Heath Institutes NEW website, you will see nothing said about stem cells or FDA approval. Please don't put money into the pockets of people who prey on those that are willing to do ANYTHING if it might possibly help make them better. Do your homework, as there are now many REPUTABLE companies doing Umbilical Cord stem cell therapy (which has proven to work for those with COPD) all across the United States providing this procedure. SHAME ON YOU PATRICIA PARADIS and all the others involved with this useless organization. May karma pay you back ten-fold for all of the lives you have conned and ruined!
