Because of COVID, we were limited to outdoor venues. These two ladies transformed a drab parking lot into a vibrant and fun party area. The vendors they booked were fantastic. Staci and Phyllis thought about every little detail to make the party special-color scheme, branded signs, napkins, and cups. They even brought outdoor games for the kids-giant Jenga and Hacky Sack. This duo was able to put this kiddush lunch together in less than 2 weeks, as we were the first during the pandemic to be allowed to have a kiddush lunch. The other party plans they had as backups were also amazing. Throughout the planning process, they remained calm, and never complained when the pandemic caused us to plan, re-plan, and again re-plan. I couldn't have done this without them and this party made the day extra-special

Paola and Sandra did an incredible job helping plan our wedding. I got married a couple weeks ago…read moreat Terranea hotel and it was the best day of my life. We found the Say I Do to Details team online and I was highly impressed by their good reviews. Their planning exceeded my expectations. From being always available, to providing suggestions and insight into timeline, and coordinating everything so well the day of, their team is simply the best. I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track. There's a trend on social media about "wedding regrets" and my husband and I keep saying to eachother thankfully that we have zero regrets. Every vendor was amazing and the planning team really went above and beyond what was asked of them and for that I'm forever grateful. I appreciate that the team asked us what 3 things were important to us on our day. 1. our guests have an amazing time 2. the timeline runs smoothly 3. to have fun That's exactly what happened! I am grateful that I was not stressed the day of and we are so happy we found Sandra and Paola as they helped turn my dream wedding into a reality. The wedding went even better than I could have imagined and I can say without a doubt that it would not have gone so perfectly without Sandra and Paola with Say I Do to Details. I will 100% contact them to help plan any party I have in the future. Choose them for your planning team- you won't regret it!

I had such a wonderful experience working with The Simple Luxe for my son's first birthday party…read morethat was farmers market themed! From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience with The Simple Luxe for our daughter's first birthday wildflower…read moretheme. Their designer, Lisa, truly brought our vision to life. We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

Easy as can be. Beautiful as can be. You cannot go wrong with this company…read more I had the privilege of attending two parties serviced by InJOY the Party. In each case, it was clear that the person throwing the party was really, truly able to sit back and enjoy themselves and their guests - no running around at the last minute or being frazzled the night of. So, naturally, I used them for a party myself, and was thrilled with the results, as were my guests! The owners are careful and diligent in every way. Every beautiful detail has been thought of, and the execution is flawless. Your party WILL look like the pictures on their website. This company is such a gift to those of us who want to host a beautiful event to honor someone in their lives (sister, best friend, parent, child, etc.), but who have neither the time nor the wherewithal to pull it off. Normally, to create an event like one of these, you would spend thousands on rentals and purchases from probably a dozen different companies. Finally, there is a company that does all that hard, time consuming labor for you and wraps everything up in a neat little bow - for far less the cost! I know I'm gushing, so I will stop now. ... But, seriously, where has this company been my whole life?!

The only good thing: Zinc, the restaurant inside, is 10/10. Genuinely loved it. Everything after this paragraph is about the front desk. We asked THREE separate times to get our room cleaned. Morning: "we're heading out, please clean." Came back at lunch: not done. Asked again. Went out to kill more time. Back at 3PM: STILL NOT DONE. My husband sat on the roof for TWO HOURS waiting for housekeeping that never came. It finally got cleaned after we returned from dinner. We paid $2,000 for a weekend and couldn't rest in our own room for the entire day. And let's be clear -- room cleaning is basic service. We didn't ask for anything more. And Frida -- I'm naming her because she earned it -- was rude to our faces. Dismissive, condescending tone, visible attitude when we dared to ask for the room to be cleaned. A third time. That we already paid for. The one friendly person worked the first night. After that? Days 2 and 3, the front desk staff looked straight through our family every single time we walked in and out. Not a hello, not eye contact. Nothing. We were invisible. This is not a service problem, this is a contempt problem. They have your money and they know it. Save your $2,000. Eat at Zinc, sleep somewhere else.

I had made my initial deposits and reserved the pictured canopy, tables, chairs and table linens. It accommodated quite a few people (50+ guests). The canopy was set up in our backyard. Initially, we had planned to have the tent grounded to the grass but with the rain, last minute pivoted to the side of the house. One star has been removed, mainly because the communication closer to event was a little unclear. Specifically, because the event took place on the 3rd (right after new years), it was unclear when the set-up would take place. I did end up texting and reaching out and the correspondence came later in the day by Jorge. In addition, the rain delayed the set-up time and we did have to make up the last minute pivot. I found out later that due to the rain, his co-worker left early sick and he came alone to set up the canopy the night before. He did a great job securing the canopy and appreciated his service. Like mentioned above, it all worked out at the end and would definitely use South Bay Party Rentals/ Jorge again for future events.
