She is so caring and actually takes the time to ask questions and not only listen to but answer all of mine w/o making me feel like I am taking up her time. She has a bedside manner like no other and I'll miss her someday when I leave MA. I also love Amie- Dr. Mandel's administrative assistant- so sweet and if Amie says she'll find something out for you, she means it- always smiles and makes you feel like you made a great decision by going to their office. The waiting room is clean and there is a t.v to help pass the time if there is a wait. I would go as far as saying that she could easily be a life coach as well - she is just that well rounded and genuine about what she does.

Every concern is met with a referral--never actual care. None of my medications have come from him, and if I manage to get an appointment when sick, I'm waiting at least a week. More often, I'm forced to go to urgent care or a walk-in clinic because his office has no availability. For regular visits, the wait is often two weeks or more. Just recently, my mother was told she'd need to wait three months just to have a consult. He now claims to be a "holistic" doctor, which was not disclosed when we first became patients. He refuses to support modern treatments like weight-loss medications, dismissing them entirely. If you're looking for a doctor who actually treats conditions, listens to patient concerns, and is available when you need care--this is not the place. On one occasion, he even came to my appointment wearing pajama bottoms because he had been napping upstairs. His office has an apartment above it where he sleeps between shifts, and he literally came down half-asleep to see me, which felt completely unprofessional.
