We stopped by Kilwins during our visit to Branson and it was a hit with the whole family. The combination of chocolate and ice cream made for a perfect treat, and everything we tried was high quality and delicious. It's one of those places that feels fun to walk into, the smells, the samples, the variety and it delivered exactly what we hoped for. A great spot to satisfy a sweet tooth, especially after dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile & hello. The store smelled of chocolatey goodness & had pretty displays of yummy treats to buy. There were delectable selections of fudge, chocolate-covered strawberries, boxed chocolates, etc. Since it was so hot, we went straight for the ice cream. I got a 2-scoop cone: cappuccino chocolate chip & Branson mud - because where else can you get the latter besides Branson?! Both were really delicious & hit the spot in the over 90° weather. Idk what the mid reviews are about here. This place is a top tier chocolatier and ice cream shop. Friendly employees, vast array of tantalizing options in the display cases. Their ice cream was the best we had in Missouri by far. Top 5 I've ever had I'd say. Their chocolate game is hard to beat too. I had a caramellow (caramel and chocolate covered marshmallow) and a giant PB cup to take home and both were excellent even days later. Great location at the landing, can eat your sweets then walk off (some of) the calories lol. I'd call it a must stop for any chocoholic. read more

Try to remember to sample first....Everything doesn't seem to be as wonderful as it seems, such as, The Superman ice cream. My daughter always seems to opt for the most colorful ice creams, normally a tart sherbet. We thought this was a sherbet. I chose the chocolate ice cream, since chocolate has never done me wrong...but this Superman ice cream is not so super. Not at all. We were eating it outside, and after 2 bites, my daughter could not eat anymore. I chuckled as a gentleman passed me knew exactly what ice cream it was. He too agreed that the ice cream was a fail, but also learned that we should have sampled first. Now we know. I was not impressed with the staff at Kilwins either. This was before I told them the ice cream was not very good. No smiles...just an unwelcome "welcome to Kilwins" welcome. Heard of this place so we had to check it out. Huge selection of chocolate treats, and a pretty good selection of ice cream. My only complaint is it's EXPENSIVE. I mean I understand it's Branson, but come on man. My wife and I got two scoops each. I got mine in a cone, she got a cup; my kid wanted chocolates so she got 4 assorted pieces. The total $26 whaaaaat?!!! Yeah the ice cream was rich, creamy, and tasty but it wasn't $10 tasty. That said I won't be back strictly because of price gouging. read more

Pretty good ice cream, but very overpriced and the waffle cones are very average. For $6 I should not get a burnt, thin waffle cone that cracks to pieces just from the the inept workers trying to shove in half melted ice cream. Like many ice cream shops, they have a perfectly baked and thick-shelled waffle cone sitting on display and then hand you the equivalent of a factory second. Another trend is shops being cheap and lazy and letting the temperature of the freezer rise a bit so the ice cream scoops easier. This results in a dripping mess before you are half done with you cone, and I am a fast eater. Tell your employees to use some elbow grease or get a proper Dipper well to warm the scoop. My double scoop cone was $8 and the cone was half hollow as well. The chocolates are around $30 a pound, which is steep even for Branson Landing. I e cream is shipped in from a central facility, not made on site. Overhyped and overpriced average ice cream shop. read more

Very nice employees! Have a Lively assortment of caramel apples with various toppings and lots of chocolate candies plus an ice cream shop. I believe they have coffee and cappuccino as well. In some of the similar stores the items are not always fresh and you don't know how long they've been there but we sampled various items here and purchased some candy and they were all fresh and delicious read more

Bad experience with employees. They can't seem to understand that I wanted the box which will hold a little more than a pound, filled up. I am more than willing to pay the per pound price for whatever the weight is. I just don't like giving a box of candy to someone that is not quite full. This was to much for them to grasp. So, after getting totally frustrated and almost losing it at their stupidity as they insisted at weighing out the candy before putting it in the box, even though I kept trying to tell them the box would hold more than the pound, I gave up. I finally left with the box full but did not buy the pound of fudge, the two bags of the dark chocolate miniature candy bars, or the metal box which contains a dark chocolate and green mint candy which my wife loves. I won't go back. I have been a regular customer buying chocoate for my wife at Christmas, Valentines Day, Her Birthday and Our Anniversary. Normal bill is over a hundred dollars. I will look for a place that has employees who can think and no talk down to, and rile up a loyal customer. read more

We walked in with a large group. Right off the bat, you can tell the employees were not happy. Whether they just don't enjoy being at their job or they knew they'd be overwhelmed, you tell me. There was ONE employee there that was sweet. She kept a smile the whole time and greeted us when we walked in and when we walked out. We had children with us.. anyone who has children knows they will take much more time to decide on what they want. Initially, the vibe wasn't welcoming and we should've walked out, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. We ended up ordering 8 ice cream cups/cones. The entire time, we felt rushed and the experience was so uncomfortable. The employees were unfriendly and did not smile. Seems like they've got personal issues. Also, don't talk about your customers in front of them because you never know who you encounter. Josh needs a new attitude. That's the only employee I saw the name tag for, everyone else who worked with him on this day at 6:00pm, needs an attitude check as well. NEXT TIME, I'll walk my happy ass down to marble slab. Sadly after waiting a few days to hear back from the company after we experienced such a horrible experience. I finally got an email stating pretty much they aren't doing anything since the employee has been with them for 7 years. We are not the only family that's had an issue with this employee if you review googles reviews there's several other complaints about him but at the end of the day this employee is not like any other employee he is also the owners son Brandon Bagwell so of course all his actions will be swept under the rug! If you want ice cream I would just walk a bit more and visit a different store! You can spend 100 dollars and still mean nothing to this store! These are fabulous ice cream flavors! This more ice cream and the peanut butter pie are the best. Even a good old standby like mint chocolate chip has a yummy deep rich flavor. Don't pass up the waffle bowls but my daughter loved to the shake! Terrible service! We ordered 7 slushes, for $22.00. They brought us 7 lemonades, not slushes. Before they gave them to us, I mentioned they were supposed to be frozen. It was a huge ordeal, they said it was going to be a longer wait and that we needed to pay an additional $7.00 because frozen is more expensive. We decided to just go with 5 slushes at that point and the "owner" threw a fit, telling us we can leave now, after paying and only receiving 2 slushes. I explained that we only had received 2, and at that point he refunded us $1.00 and yelled at the staff to "just throw away the other product, it was wasted. I have never seen a manager, much less an owner act like this. Terrible service, terrible attitude, and I will never go here again. Such a shame to find such rudeness in Branson. read more

Holy cow this place was amazing! I had the smore ice cream in a waffle cone. The portions are quite large. The gentleman behind the counter was also very helpful, allowing people to sample flavored before making a final decision. He was also very friendly.
