The stable managers were very helpful in matching horse to rider and helping with getting on. I was very happy to have the extended ride and the trek was worth it! The route was super muddy because of rain earlier in the night. For about half the trip, we didn't have an exact path and wove through the forest/countryside. The horses were definitely exhausted by the end of our journey, but continued to respond fairly well to requests.

We really enjoyed Sunday. Thank-you to all of the friendly team and dedicated management for making our time so much fun. During the last 15 years, my childhood, teenage years and now early 20's have been sculpted by the amazing experiences I have had with the other riders at the school, the instructors, the staff and of course the incredible horses and ponies. You will not find nicer horses or ponies anywhere else, all with unique personalities and the most loving nature. An undefinable amount of care and attention goes into each horse and pony every day, and only the most dedicated staff are present at any given time. Perfect place for children, adults, families or anyone looking to have a new kind of adventure in their life!

Walking around Dublin city centre, besides the occasional sea gull, it's easy to forget how near…read moreyou are to the sea. The sea safari pushes these boundaries and takes you out the Liffey and lets you view Dublin from a perspective that most people miss. The craggy rough coast along Dublin is breathtakingly gorgeous. The sea safari runs tours from Malahide, as well as from the Docklands and gives you different touring options. The cost of the tour (€35) is a bit pricier than your standard dublin bus tour, but it's also much more exhilirating and definitely much more unique. During my tour we got to go into a sea cave, that despite being to the sea many times, I had no idea existed. There's also the opportunity to view all the sea life that live in Dublin bay, like seals and porpoises. The ride is not for the faint of heart though as the wind blowing in off the sea can cause the water to be quiet choppy, but when operated right the rigid inflatable boat is quite smooth. You are also provided with all weather gear that protects you from the wet and cold, though I would suggest bundling up with as much layers as possible. If you've been to Dublin before and are looking for something a bit different, or you love the sea and a bit of adventure this tour is definitely for you!

I went specifically for the pool and was impressed. The pool was clean, the water kept at a proper temperature for lap swimming, lifeguards attentive to making sure people stay in the right lanes based on ability, and the room is vented appropriately with fresh air. I also liked that the locker and changing room was clean and tidy. I kept my belongings in a locker safely while I swam and then was able to have a hot shower after my training. The one main thing I wish was different is the membership fee. From what was explained to me I have to either pay as I come (6 euro per swim as an adult) or join for the year. I don't want an annual membership at this time, so I have to pay the drop in price. I would join for a month at a time rate if one was available and fair.

It's not the cheapest tourist excursion, ranges from €12 to about €55. Prices vary according to the amount of time or type of tour you want. We took an hour long one which took in all the Georgian sights. It works on a first come first served basis, you can find the carts lined up outside St. Stephens Green.

This public park is outstanding! It is such a gem in the suburbs of the Northside of Dublin…read more Firstly, it is huge and spans from Clontarf and goes into Raheny. There are entrances from all sides. It is mainly a pedestrain park but there is an entrance for cars on Mount Prospect Avenue in Clontarf, but i think this is limited access only. There are fabulous walking routes around the park. The Rose Garden is beautifully maintained and a very serene place to be with plenty of benches to sit and relax. There is also a great childrens playground down the back of the park. There are also many football pitches around the park that are well maintained. There are also tennis courts up the Raheny end of the park as well as a pitch and putt green. It is a great place to bring the kids, to go for a walk, to take the dog or to just get a break away from the hectic Dublin life!

The central lawn is circular, circular grassy garden with a brick Celtic knot pattern with smaller gardens in the corners. One of the gardens is a memorial dedicated to the local Garda, with the names of all Gardai (Irish Police) killed in the line of duty being inscribed on a roll of honor. Protected by the stunning Chester Beatty Library and the Dublin Castle, is also home to three memorial gardens. Tucked into the corners of the space, memorials to the investigative journalist Veronica Guerin, the 2003 Special Olympics volunteers feature specially commissioned sculptures. Dubh Linn, or "black (dark) pool" referred to the dark tidal pool and evolved into the city's name as we know it today. The gardens are fairly new, being completed in 1996.
