I was a bit nervous, but Cerologist Lisa is also bit magical, and that cancelled my fear out. Not only is she highly skilled in the removal process, but she's a cool person and brilliant conversationalist. She's an expert at skin and hair care, and handled me with kid loves. I expected some pain, but this was much better than I assumed it would be. I'm hooked! The facility is ultra clean, every staff member is super nice and professional. The first timer discount is a solid incentive to give this salon a try! Club Orange has great perks, too, if you join. Honestly, Waxing the City exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to go back and see Lisa in August. She also uses oils and antibacterial creams to really protect your skin. I drove thirty minutes to this location from Madison and it was definitely worth it. I will definitely be returning to Angie. It was three steps: 1. Consult - Aashu explained all the benefits and considerations for the procedure, the pricing model, and the appts needed. She also did a sample outline of what my brows would look like using some sort of makeup so I could get an idea. She consulted on possible shapes and styles and updated the outline drawn on my face so I could decide which was a good fit. She explained what to expect with the procedure in great detail. 2. 1st Appointment - Aashu had great communication with me about where to be and what to expect. She even kept my scheduled appointment on the day of a big snow storm. She used a numbing cream that made the procedure itself not very painful. It took maybe 2 hours. She gave me an aftercare kit and detailed instructions to follow, which were pretty easy. From day 1 I didn't feel the need to pencil in my brows anymore. I had a tiny bit of itching the first week, but nothing to be worried about. 3. 2nd Appointment - This one was the same thing but much quicker. She listened to my feedback and made the small tweaks I asked for. I am very happy with the result! She was also very meticulous about keeping her hands, the tools, and the area sterile while she worked which gave me good peace of mind. I had wanted to do this for years, but was afraid to do it.
