This is a city run facility with a awesome pool, small-ish gym, and some common fitness/aquatic classes. I haven't been in the pool yet but it is definitely the selling feature of this facility. The reason I go here is for their gym; drop is passes are $6 (cheap) during the week and $2 (cheaper) on Sundays from 2-4pm. This place happens to be super close to my house so instead of hulling everything downtown for a weekend workout, I just drop in here.
They have four treadmills, four elliptical, 2 stair masters, and 4 bikes; so not much cardio equipment. You have to sign up to use a machine on a white board in 25 minute increments, and often, there is a wait-list. There are a few TV's overhead these machines for those who need the distraction, however I don't think you can hear them (I'm not 100% sure on this though).
They have a really decent selection of free weights and weight machines that I personally find to be sufficient for my needs. If you go in off-busy hours, it's nice to have the weights area to yourself.
It's a small room with wall to wall mirrors but it does the trick. Definitely not a bad drop in gym. You have to have a code to get into the gym so if you do drop in, make sure you ask the front desk for the code.
