I figured as this was a "farm" they surely must be out in the open. Good points: It was a fiver in. The staff were very friendly. They have fairy houses, a bouncy castle and lots to keep the kids amused. There were lots of different pets and you can get up close to most of them. They have a llama. I heart llamas. The owner came over with food so I could feed said llama..my life was complete. Bad points: Too many animals stuck in small surroundings. Dead bird in one of the (very dirty) aviaries. Rabbit cages were cramped and overflowing and as there was no outside run attached I'm guessing they never see the outdoors, same goes for other small animals. If you are a kid or parent though you will probably love this place. It's not flash but there is enough to keep the young ones amused for a few hours (indoors and outdoors) and they get to see animals they wouldn't usually. I would have liked it more myself if I had gotten the feeling that the smaller pets get out once in a while to stretch their legs. Sadly I dont think thats the case.

Food in the cafe was usual fare: toasties, soup, chips, all v decent and much better than what I've had in similar spots. We'll definitely be back.

They are just that in Paws a While. They are so genuinely caring and helpful and they treat the animals so kindly and are so gentle and loving towards them. We had to bring our cat Dora down to get an abscess on her back checked out and the vet, Pat Farrelly, was so gentle with her and made sure she was as calm and comfortable as possible. He offered to keep her in overnight as he wanted to bathe the abscess, which would also save us causing her the trauma of trying to get her back in the cat box and then travelling in the car for the journey home, only to do the same the following day to bring her back in for the appointment. He administrated a pain killer and antibiotic injection so she would not be in pain for the night and would sleep well, all while constantly petting her and making sure she was calm and felt as safe as she could. The staff in Paws a While never fail to make a trip to their clinic pleasant and easy because of their professionalism and positivity. They truly care about their little fluffy patients. I would recommend them 100%.
