Gorgeous store Fantastic location Quality products The makeup and innovation in the KIKO Milano cosmetics is top notch. The seasonal collections are fantastic. I have visited The KIKO stores overseas and the staff are ALWAYS wonderful. After all, they are there to sell and help. Crazy I know. This concept seems to allude a majority of the staff at the Kiko Milano Lincoln Road location. A majority of the staff at the Lincoln Road location - terrible, awful, really really bad customer service (save for the beautiful black girl at the register with the million dollar smile and personality to match). The big sasquatch with the really thick accent is horrible to deal with. Her indifference and bad attitude are projected from the moment you see her. Miserable. Someone needs to tell her she is SELLING cosmetics not air or water. No-one needs another lipstick or eyeshadow palette. Seriously! The other one with the bleach blond over processed hair and the dark black roots is equally as miserable. You really don't want to ask her for anything. Excuse me do you mind telling me where the makeup remover is or should I just go play in traffic?! She might just say- go play in traffic. Yikes! I don't know what else to say. Perhaps, retraining? Demerits for customers who walk out because they can't deal with these two losers. The store is kept immaculate. FLoor is clean, stations are well stocked and clean. I like trying out new makeup brands if the price is right. Fortunately, the price was very right when my friends and I walked past Kiko on Lincoln Road. Apparently this is a popular Italian/UK brand, and I mostly went in to look at their highlighters. It seems like the store has a huge variety of cosmetics, but it's actually the same display on both sides of the store, but they are arranged differently on each side. Their prices are mid-range, like Sephora brand cost, with nail polishes and eyeliners around $8-10, eyeshadows and lipsticks around $15, and face products and brushes around $20. I was mostly drawn to the items on sale that were over 50% off. It kind of drew a red flag for me because I had never heard of this brand, not even from beauty forums, and I was skeptical of how big the markdowns were. I swatched a pretty quad-eyeshadow palette that came down to $8 and I chose some nail polishes that were 3 for $3. *FYI if you want to buy just one polish, it will ring up as $1 so don't feel obligated to buy all three. The polishes were very standard rainbow colors, and nothing stood out as unique to the line. The eyeshadows are very soft and pigmented. They can be used dry or add water for more color payoff. The polish impressed me the most. It was opaque with one coat and it did not have too harsh of a chemical smell. It dried very fast. I want to pick up more colors. Service is really slow, I think mostly because of the language barrier. All of the employees spoke mainly Spanish, and with broken English. It's enough to get around, but don't bother asking for a beauty tutorial unless you can speak the language. Service wasn't terrible, but it took me a good 15 minutes to check out when there was only one woman in front of me. There was only one register open, even though the store was filled with people. I didn't have a bad experience there, but I wanted to checkout faster. The best was that they gave out free popsicles while browsing the store! Not sure if that's a commonplace thing, but on Sunday night, I got a free watermelon lime Popsicle, very yummy! read more

Very nice cosmetic store that just opened on Lincoln Road yesterday. Very enthusiastic staff willing to help. Happened to be on Lincoln Road that day, and my sister in law, who was visiting was SO excited. As a make up artist, she said the prices were great and the quality was definitely department store/professional grade. She had a field day! I was told that this is only the 3rd US store, as a company from Italy. I was pretty impressed with some pricing ($5-8 eye shadows, $9 lip sticks, etc). I feel it necessary to post a review because I completely don't agree with the negative reviews below. First, how someone did or didn't greet you is subjective. For me, I prefer stores where the sales associates not walk over to me the second I walk into the store. For someone else, they might feel that the service is lacking if the sales associates don't say hello the minute they walk in. This is totally subjective and doesn't represent the quality of the makeup at KIKO. Like many other makeup brands, not every single KIKO product is my absolute favorite and what might be a favorite of mine, based on my skin coloring, sensitivity or the look I'm trying to achieve, may not be a favorite to someone else. It's common sense. But.....KIKO has a lot of really great makeup products at an amazing price. Where I use to pay $40 for a NARS bronzer, I now pay $12 for two bronzers at KIKO, and I like them better. I've switched many of my more expensive Chanel, Nars and Dior products for KIKO and I couldn't be happier. They lost my orders twice in the row, offered no explanation and barely any apologies. All of my email questions were totally ignored, they are extremely unprofessional and indifferent. Terrible in store experience. Everyone had a terrible attitude, even the doorman - had an issue with exchanging a lippie (EXCHANGING...NOT REFUND) and was blamed for using the product (I know the rules at Kiko I would never try that bullsh*t). Quote the sales rep that assisted me: "Oh, the client picked the wrong color, and it's used" Me: "No, you gave me the incorrect item. You swatched this color on your wrist to show me the similarities between the two colors and I told you I wanted the other color - you gave me this one by accident, it's totally cool I just want the other color." Great cosmetics. The worst customer service. I've been there twice. Love the products. But don't you dare go return stuff: it's a nightmare. I don't know why but they seem to get upset if you return items. Worst. Attitude. Ever. Last time I bought an item and found it cheaper somewhere else. I had already returned something earlier and went to get a refund for the brush. The cashier, Sara, told me that it wasn't allowed to bring back stuff "that many times" That many? Horrible experience. I purchased yesterday two lip glosses and I opened to see the colors, since the light was different outside than inside their store. When I went to return the "manager," as she claims, says to my face "didn't like them?" I said "no, their just not for me." She than tells me I wasn't able to return them since the seal was broken. I'm obsessed with makeup so when I saw this gem while walking along Lincoln Rd, I had to go in. Kiko Milano is an Italian brand which I've never heard of. The pricing is very reasonable and many items were discounted or on clearance. I purchased three eye products for my sister and me. Two eyeshadow pencils and a single eyeshadow. The pencils are very pigmented and go on nicely. But I was disappointed that one detached from its dispenser before I could use it the first time. I don't know if it was like this when I bought it or if I somehow handled it roughly. Of course, it's the one I paid full price for, but at least I can still use it. I haven't tried the eyeshadow single. I'm giving it to my sister when she visits. The pricing is right for me to try other items from this brand. read more

Everytime I go to Miami I shop here for makeup. It gives me a new brand to explore, and the prices of the eyeshadows are reasonable. From $6-12 I believe. But they have everything anY cosmetic line has foundation, Lipsticks, eyeliner, nail polish, brushes... Etc! I've never met any rude sales associates but if you take too long to decide they try to pick out colors for you just to get you out sooner. And a security guard works at the entrance so I'm thinking that this store probably has problems with theft. And I went in March during Calle ocho weekend. Avoid at all cost. Especially if you are not Hispanic. The assistant manager Priscilla is rude and nasty. A customer had a dog in the store that was jumping on people and up on the make up counters. I am allergic to dogs and spent $125 in their store last night. When I complained and asked the store associates to ask the woman to control her dog or leave because I'm allergic I was told To leave and laughed at. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and wil go back to higher prices at Sephora where i am treated with dignity and respect. read more

I really like the Kiko products but after my encounter with their customer service I'm not sure if I will ever use their webshop again. May 18th I placed 2 orders and paid them with Sofort. After a couple days, it occured to me that I hadn't received any confirmation of these orders. I found a link to the Belgian customer service, which is located in France (??), and explained them my situation. We exchanged several e-mails, I gave them a copy of the bank statements where the 2 amounts were debited from my account. They asked my data for the refund and then all of the sudden July 11th they tell me they can't find my money!! WTF?! 110€ were deducted from my account and now they are floating in banking heaven?! Logics says this is impossible. We're almost two months later, I've written several e-mails to Kiko, they keep telling me I can't get my money back, I keep telling they have to take a more profound look at their bank account. I've contacted Sofort, who can't help me, they keep referring to Kiko. My bank can only tell me the money is transferred to the German Kiko account. I'm now considering to file a complaint for theft, it seems to be the only option left. read more

where should I start? I came here with a friend today around 4 Pm. This was the worst experience I have ever had here. The store was completely empty and the two girls working there didn't even greet us, we didn't even get a hello when we got within speaking distance. To top it off when we asked a question about a product, the response we got was "you can read the label and thats where it will tell you" so please tell me what you are there for ? Its not like they were busy or pressed for time. They literally sat there and gossiped instead of helping. When we got to the registered was when the only conversation was engaged by the employees. Sadly there are no 0 stars. Nice products, good prices but WORST customer service ever. I returned one product after 1 hr of my original purchase. I returned it unopened, unused. I just changed my mind. The customer assistant got upset. She was making faces and noises. Terrible attitude. Her staff number according to my receipt is 00018, she was African American. I saw how she put the product back on the table. This did not represent a loss for the store at all. I don't understand why she was so upset about it. I came into the Miami location since I was visiting and was super excited to go into my first Kiko store in the United States. I was there for three hours and stocked up on so much makeup with the help of the amazing Heather! She helped me get everything I wanted on the list I made, and showed me all these new products and took her time in helping me pick out the right lipsticks since I tried so many! I purchased makeup from them and it's fabulous. But beware of the skin care products. They may be affordable, but they do not work at all if you're over 25 . I am 48 with no particular skin issues and I have to apply the facial cream and eye cream 3 times a day in order for my skin to receive the nutrition it needs. This way there are NO savings at all. Only a hassle. So make up 5 star: skin care 0 star. A minus. I contacted customer service and they flat out refused any assistance. They said: "We are sorry the product did not work for you. KIKO MILANO is committed to offering safe products of the highest quality. You have reached Customer Support for the online Web Store. However, we can let you know that our retail stores do not accept returns for opened or used products.". Note that they offer no samples either. So buyer beware. read more

Amazing make up at an affordable price! Great selection so many eyeshadow colors and lipstick colors. My favorite is the double touch lipstick it lasts for 10 hours, doesn't transfer, and doesn't dry out your lips! Every time I use it a friend asks to borrow it! This company has THE WORST costumer service ever!! ONLINE SHOPPING AT IT'S WORSE- I made 2 orders in the same day, received the shipment confirmation email on the 15th of January and still have nothing aside from a load of money out of my pocket. When I started to find strange the waiting time I started searching for costumer service, promoted as "Always available" using a telephone icon to state it, when there is no phone number at all!!! That's right, on a tab called "help and contacts" - yes, plural! You will only find ONE contact, an email, ironically by the name "we care team". I can assure you they don't care at all!! I have 4 emails the oldest one week old, with no answer at all! This because I first used the online forms on the kiko website that, by the way, you can fill as many as you want there is no contact back or even a confirmation of reception of your query. Do not use companies that don't provide at least one phone number, this is my advice. I dropped a star because I found the eyeshadow shades to colorful for my taste. True they cater to a younger client, but a few more neutral shades wouldn't hurt. My advice to everyone is to ditch your current cosmetic brand and switch to KIKO. Their products are cruelty-free, inexpensive, and so well made. I found them in my quest for berry-colored lipsticks that wouldn't fade to a cheap pink stain. I've tried all of the top (overpriced) brands with no success. MAC came close and their prices were decent, plus they recycle their plastic containers; but when they started selling in China, they started animal testing, which is simply UNACCEPTABLE. Went during sale promotion, I understand it's busy, but the staff are not helpful. They make you seem like you are bothering them when you ask them for assistance, the worst is the manager in the moor street branch, Karen (South Asian Women). Goodness knows how she is a manger? She has a disgusting way of speaking to customers. She was rude, disrespectful, and clearly lacks basic customer etiquette. A friendly advice to the regional manger, please train your staff to be more helpful and polite towards customers, and please train Karen basic customer etiquette, if that proves to be a challenge, because she is lacking brain cells, get rid of her. I regret not getting their names but it is Thursday, 05/11/2017, 4:20pm and I am just leaving the store.....I must say I have not gone here in a few months but this was my first time receiving barely any service at all. I was browsing to find skin care products and a some new brushes . Usually on a good day there would be some one around to help if I had any questions but I found the only two girls that were on shift (one pale with shoulder length black / teal hair the other with a black and blonde Ombré hair color ) were more focused on the conversation that they were having so I decided to go to the girl with the black and blonde hair to ask where would I be able to find one of the mascaras they had on the table and she just replied to me that I can just read the labels when she realized how that came off she attempted to look but she couldn't even find it right away , that's obviously why I asked Because it wasn't where the testers were !!! I was asking my best friend who was also with me, about the products because at that moment she was more helpful than the people that got paid to help me. I left with no product knowledge even when I asked about things I had no clue about, I almost just walked out honestly but I just got the highlighter because it sold its self to me it seemed pretty nice and it was the last one.Even at check out they were both still talking to each other behind the register area .Mind you the one actually checking me out was eating in the corner and when I stood there she just pointed me to the second to last register told me the price and handed me the change, saying bye have a nice one which was probably the only service I received from her . To be honest I probably won't be back there for a while and I will deff save my friends the trouble, because it's definitely a big difference here , customer service has plummeted. read more

I wish that there was a Zero star option, because giving the South Beach location 1 star seems too generous. I went into the store for the first time ever today to buy lipstick and eye shadow, but was completely ignored for 20 minutes by both sales associates on the floor. I was never greeted, never assisted, never offered help or apologized to for the wait, so I took my time trying to pick out the right shade since it was obvious I wasn't going to get help. I suppose I took too long, because the security guard started shadowing me as I moved through the store even though I had no purse/bags with me and was holding the lipstick in my hand where it was visible to everyone. I even was asked to move out of the way while a sales associate restocked the eye shadow and she STILL never offered to help, but had no problem chatting it up with the security guard stalker. I will happily walk down Lincoln Road PAST Kiko and go to MAC where I am not profiled/followed and am happily assisted every time I visit.
