I spent a weekend in Salerno and ate here twice, it was so good. I recommend doing the "all you can eat" for 20 euro off the conveyer belt. The conveyer belt has an array of sushi, sashimi, and nigiri that all tastes fresh and delicious. It also features fried rice, dumplings, shrimp/chicken skewers and even french fries. Add a bottle of white wine for 5 euro, and you really get a bang for your buck.
I've raved about the food enough, however, their service is a different story. My friend and I, being two American girls in their 20s, speak almost no Italian. Their English was almost non-existent which made things confusing at times. The first night we ate here was on a Thursday, so we were sat right away and were the only two people in the whole restaurant. After such a good experience, we came back on Saturday night around 9 pm. Our Air BnB host suggested we try this place the first day we got to Salerno and he made it a point to say, you don't need to make reservations, so we didn't. Saturday night they had almost half the restaurant blocked off for reservations. Even if we wanted to make a reservation ahead of time, their website does not work and forget about calling over the phone unless you speak Italian. The women who works there is friendly and speaks some English, which is the only reason we ate there both times. The other servers were rude to us and tried to turn us away, speaking almost no English.
Overall, great food and a great deal. Service, not so much. If you can suck it up for some good sushi, this is the place to go. read more
