Ladies, this place will cater to your funky Grandma, your green thumb mother or that friend you forgot the birthday of for easily under $25 (and more if you're feeling generous). Flowers available are fairly seasonal, but there are some imported from overseas. The bunches you can buy are simple, but if you want to make up something for that special someone the staff are super helpful to combine some options for you (to suit your budget). Most importantly the flora lasts for at least 2 weeks and bunches come in brown paper packages tied up with string (these are a few of my favourite things). You can also get cute little starter gardens of lettuce and herbs here for a longer lasting present and cacti which only yours truly could kill for less than $20. So give the other half a hint and send them over Flower Hutt's way.

Awesome selection of weird, wonderful, colourful and fun flowers. Great price for a great product. Open till 7pm which is SOOOO convenient. AAAANNNNDDD if you are lucky you can get a 15minute free car park right out the front for when you are just ducking in and out on your way to that birthday dinner which you are super organised for.......last minute gift buying.....( what me!? No never!) This is my go to for self treating too.

I can see that the owner has a great eye for particular species and how they match each other. I walked into this store to buy my friend a bunch of flowers to go with a birthday present. I loved the more earthy, green style of this store's bouquets. That may be a seasonal thing that I saw. But it seems that she does not stock as much bold colours and cheaper species of flowers. More of the softer tones of flowers that work well together. She also sells a range of potted plants and shrubs. After looking through the store, I noticed a line of gorgeous terrariums in large jars. They featured three types of succulents, rocks and moss. They also came with some instructions for care. I thought this was perfect for a present. Something that will continue to grow and decorate my firends home. It was well priced and the owner walked me through how to look after it. I look forward to return and arrange one of the lovely bunches of flowers I was admiring in the store.

As there was little stock left already made into bouquets we enquired if more available. She said no even though plenty of loose flowers in stock and could have made one for us. She also said 'what did we expect at this time of the day' .. never come here again.

A florist just fits in so well here. My eye was caught by a set up in the middle of the Arcade. Some beautiful live plants, terrariums, moth orchids and wood. I feel like this style is very much in fashion at the moment. Kind of that earthy green forest feel. Very fresh looking. The set up in the store is simple and clean. Each species is presented in beautiful displays in large metal pales. The colour scheme and flowers chosen here are of the more classy varieties. White roses, black roses, and green foliage. This isn't a rainbow flower kind of store. Unfortunately I caught her low on stock on my visit, so I could not see the whole store full. But, if what she had in the store was what was left, well.... I love this florist! Louise is just absolutely lovely and is obviously amazing at what she does. She spent time talking about her business and why she loves it. If you have a special occasion coming up or just want to decorate your home with a modern bunch, visit this store.

All Wrapped Up (genius pun), is a little-girl heaven. Lots of sweet little purses and jewellery boxes and tiny little things you can keep in your pocket and bring out at recess to sparkle and make you look cool. They also have some appealing homewares that are actually things you'd like to receive as gifts. Funky clocks and bookends and whimsical jewellery stands and all sorts of giftables that Kath and Kim would pronounce 'Noice.' It's much more reasonably priced than you'd expect from a sparkly gift shop in the Eastern Burbs and the staff are pleasantly chatty and not at all snobbish. When a co-shopper was looking at a photo frame made out of a combi van, the sales assistant pointed out they also have combi van egg cups. Now this might sound stupid in theory but if you'd seen the things, you'd have been as delighted as we were. Needless to say she took two.

I like how there are pre-made bunches across a range of budgets, from low end to fancy-pants prices. Of course, you can have your own bouquet lovingly arranged to order as well if you prefer. I think that's the edge here, a caring touch and excellent attention to detail. Even when I buy flowers for myself and the house (and the cat too I suppose), I get a pretty tissue-wrapped bunch tied with ribbon, and I leave feeling super special myself.
