Wowee!
I feel like I'm Indiana Jones...looking for lost treasure....when I stepped in here all I could say to myself was, "Wow. So many amazing stuff here." Bimbo was simply breath-taking, to say the least.
When you first walk in, you see that the shop is fairly small, there's plenty of walking space, pumpin' loungey house music in the background gets you in the mood straight away, and the products on show pulls at your heartstrings several times as you walk around - you can find jewellery, sunglasses and even a rare musical monkey teddy (only 3 left in Australia!). The price range is $29 and up, but as you can read from Michelle J's review ("I always seem to find something there")...there are quite a few stunning treasures waiting to be found, if you look hard enough.
It took a long time, before Stephanie, the sophisticated woman behind the counter noticed me and asked, "Can I help you there?" But I did notice that she was way too focused on the cool products of the store, and that every customer had to approach her, so all good. Stephanie recommended me to buy silver jewellery instead, showcasing the silver jewellery range, drew my attention to the 50% jewellery deals at the bottom of the glass counter, and of course I decided to look at the glass case (opposite the counter) of beautiful jewels that caught my eye when I browsed around (Look at those shiny ones!) and was quite tempted to take home some bling.
If you visit for the first time, ask for Anastasia, the shop owner as she knows most about this very interesting store. read more
