Not sure if they're true or not as I can't find anything online about it, so assume they were just that: rumours. I've been here recently with my current partner who fell in love with it... The store, not my ex... She loves old antique furniture and if you want to fill your house with antiques and have a big wallet then this is where you need to go. There are 2 stores setup side by side with sheds down the back that hold even more stock. When you think you've seen everything there is to see here you can go downstairs in the main shop and see another 3-4 rooms worth of items. Most items are Indian from the Edwardian era. From massive double doors, to beds and tables, to clocks, boxes and crates, if you have any love of antiques then you have to visit this place. Just fill that wallet full of cash before you do!!

I…read morejust wish I knew about it earlier but then again I would've been broke, this is a devine find filled with eclectic items such as antiques and in amongst it all a mish mash of various other items. Now unfortunately it was closed on this particular day but I will phone in advance next time just to check. From what I saw I liked as it leans towards that French provincial look and style. The quirkiest thing I saw was a deer head poking out from the wall at the front, lots of prints, several chandeliers, candle stick holders but not just any old ones but quite elaborate, tables, lamps, statues, mirrors, cushy chairs, victorian bed frames, french provincial furniture ad so many other items. Not sure what the prices are like but judging a book by its cover I'd say it's pricey. But none the less worth a drive out to have a look instead of sticking to the city stores with similar stuff.

Even Woodside has hand-picked vintage and secondhand goods, and what a delightful store it is!…read more The intsy winsy Change Room stocks mostly womens clothing, fantastic bric a brac and vintage posters. There are lots of accessories to be had as well and the prices are pretty darn good. I saw a hat for $12, leather belts between $10 and $16, dresses for $30 and $40. What a lovely compliment to all the antique stores in the area and provides for those vintage and secondhand fans who want the wheat and the chaff pre-sorted.
