I visited The Warehouse the other day to see what it was all about.
Owner Sarah described it as a place selling rustic used hardware and homewares, and that's exactly how it is. In fact, it's almost a bit of an antique store. In amongst tools and hardware of all sorts are wall hooks, books, tables, teacups and evena spinning wheel! There were a number of things which caught my eye, in particular a gorgeous blue table and some large metal flowers. Everything looked clean and in good shape for selling. Though not necessarily cheap, their prices seemed reasonable to me given the quality of mose of the wares.
If you are looking for tools, this is a good place to go - they have heaps. There were many shovels and garden tools, some ladders etc.
I would recommend this place if you are looking to redecorate your home or add a rustic feeling. I also suggest checking out this little gem if you love vintage shopping! There is a relaxed, quirky atmosphere and plently of eye-catching wares! The owners were lovely to talk to, and happy to show me around the shop.
I really liked how this adds to the little bundle of business in Woodside. It feels right at home and being a little different to most second-hand stores in the area gives it a bit of an edge. It definitely suits the atmosphere of the Adelaide Hills. It is on the main street, but set back, so keep that in mind or you might walk straight past it!
Highly recommend going for a browse! Loved it. read more
