Fresh butcher shop/carnicería, fresh corn & flour tortillas(made here), quality pan dulce and even prepared food to order- called Elena's Kitchen- are all reasons to come here. I asked the waitress what this Don Tono is exactly, and to my surprise, she wasn't sure either. So, of course I had to order it. It was a big thing of aluminum foil with goodies inside, kinda like a seafood bake. It was good, although I found the flavor to be a undertuned. I would've liked some Cajun seasoning. The best texture and taste was probably the fish itself as it was light and flaky without being mushy, and it absorbed the umami of some of the other seafood. I was about to pay when something went wrong with my card and the cashier had to leave so she told me to give the receipt to the next cashier to come. When Jody came she said "I can help whoever is next" and I was very clearly standing at the register. I was about to explain what happened and she didn't even let me finish when she interrupted me and said "you're going to have to go to the front desk". Which was already a bad start when she interrupted me. Then I finished explaining and she said "you're going to have to wait in line" and I said "but I was about to pay?" And she said "well you can wait in the line". The line was LONG it's not fair that I have to wait all over again when I was already about to pay.
