Kiki is right around the corner from the best spot to overlook the city and the Alhambra, which is also a popular place for tourists and alike to admire the sunset. We came, however, in the middle of the day, after 3 hours of wandering in the Alhambra, and desperate for food/cold drinks/ and a shade from the Sun. The restaurant has a big outside sitting area, all of which is shaded by umbrellas (thank you). We were seated immediately and handed over a big menu. Dad was in the mood for steak, mom for calamari, and me for veggies, so thats what we ended up getting.
The T-bone steak was huge, totally enough for two. We ordered it to be well done, but somehow there were still quite some portion with blood. Not sure if it was due to the sheer size that made it difficult to be fully cooked. The calamari was one of the best that I had ever had. Guess its freshness and chewiness stood out. The scrambled egg veggie dish was so intricately arranged that it almost is an art piece.
Service was friendly, though probably due to the crowd, not the fastest. read more
