He also used the wrong size hip implant which caused more damage. I have permanent damage and a permanent limp and still have pain after 12 years. Do not go to this doctor. He should not be practicing.

I JUST WANT TO BE HONEST AND WARN PEOPLE ABOUT DR. GARY HUNTER…read moreI received a knee surgery procedure from Dr. Hunter back in 2008. At a young age not knowing a lot of the medical background. I have received an MRI and without any showing of the image that was scanned, he just told my father and I that I needed surgery. "You might have torn your meniscus." My father listened to him and I had no say in this at all because my father just wanted my knee to "be fixed" or "be better" The initial reason why we showed up in the first place was because every time I bend my knee up and down, there was something that was cracking/popping...Without any pain. We just wanted to make sure that my knee was ok... and these sounds weren't a sign to internal damage. After the surgery, the doctor didn't even mention or report back to us what he found or what the reasons were for those popping/cracking. We had to ask, I asked him "was my meniscus torn?" He said "no, there were just some damaged tissues and we just scraped it out." I wish I could've gone to another doctor to get a second opinion that clearly goes over the MRI findings and isn't just to get money. NOW that I am older, I will always get a SECOND OPINION because DOCTORS ARE CORRUPT AND SKETCHY. I would STAY AWAY FROM RECEIVING ANY MEDICAL ADVIDE OR ANY PROCEDURES FROM DOCTOR GARY HUNTER! My knee is STILLL THE SAME NO CHANGE AT ALL.., STILL HAVE SYMPTOMS .., I just suffered through senior year on crutches and my knee will never be the same after surgery. I hope you get a lawsuit placed one day. I wish I could but I think it's too late. I hope you are retired and don't practice on any bodies!

This office has the worst possible communication I have ever experienced. None of the departments…read moretalk to each other (dr, nurses, referrals, front desk) they all are just doing their own things and don't follow up. I have been pushed around and shoved off to different departments for months. No one knows how to handle anything. The doctor blames the other departments, they blame each other. Don't expect referrals to go through or authorizations to be communicated. Just a ridiculous excuse for a specialty clinic. Also, the dr only works part time so it takes months to be seen. The worst part is that no one in that office has any empathy. Not one person actually apologized for the issues that they created, they just simply gave excuses. A simple, meaningful apology goes a long way.

They have not only helped me retrieve my referrals but have also taken the extra step to making sure I get seen where I need to be seen and taking step by step action to care for each and every injury I've had. I feel safe in their hands and won't go anywhere else. Dr.Kanneganti has not hesitated to really take a look into my injuries to make sure we weren't missing anything. When I fractured my shin he took the extra mile to make sure we can see the hairline fracture and also reassured me that the healing would take time but that I was going to be ok. That alone is enough for me and what we need in our community whether it is good or bad news. Someone who loves to give back to their community thrives with the community! Thank you!

Painful right shoulder rehab - Left knee replacement surgery rehab - Major right rotator cuff…read moresurgery rehab . . . I have went through two extended injury rehabs and currently about half way through the third, rotator cuff surgery, with these wonderful people. I have spent a lot of time with, and gotten to know, all of the three PTs and the support staff. Every one of them actually care about my success and treat me like was the most important patient they have. Truth be told, I'm just another burned out 76 year old has been athlete who used up his body in his youth. I have no regrets, and I seriously recommend you consider these professionals for your needs! Cameron, Maria, and Brittany REALLY know their stuff. Each one has been a blessing for me.

My fiancee is stationed at JBLM and needs to continue his PT. He called this place after finding this place through his insurance he gave them a call and interrogated them, which is his standard procedure. His first impression? The receptionist picked up and sounded confident, a plus in his books. Well the result of that call is that he became a patient! He has been here about 6 times. He comes in, signs in and doesn't even get a chance to sit down as they already call him in! The only person who is ever in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes is me! I've seen multiple different patients come in and they are all treated the same. The ladies are kind and courtesy and have a bond with each patient. They are even kind to me, offering me coffee on some days. And they spend about 1.5 hours with my fiancee, who is recovering from a rotator cuff surgery. They give him a heated massage in the beginning and towards the end make him do exercises in their exercise room, which has a couple of flat beds, weights, a lat pull down machine, stair stepper, treadmill and other equipment. They take therapy seriously! Parking is a breeze, restrooms don't need keys, scheduling is simple. I and he have no conplaints about this place. They even have a fresh newspaper and ample magazines! I truly hope more people come to this office. Be on the lookout for his review!
