If you want fresh pierogy, cheese, sausages, impossible to find in the US real European cottage cheese, buckwheat honey or Easter European herbs teas, this is the place! When I bought almost two pounds of fresh home-style kielbasa only for $12, I almost fell like robber, because it worth more than I payed. Polish pickles, birch juice and marinated mushrooms... Also, before shopping or after, recommend to order a small lunch. have staffed cabbage and duck putte sandwich or grilled kielbasa with sauerkraut! Cooked with love, like my grandma's dishes! Also people who are working there are amazing. My brother kept telling me about this place, and we finally got around to trying it. And now I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner! It's a small shop, but don't let that fool you! The shelves are fully stocked and quite packed with tons of imported items! They have a nice variety from sauces, canned produce, meal helpers, drinks, breads, snacks, and so much more. Their deli is where they shine, though! For our first time, we didn't know what to expect or what to even look for. The woman working there was super friendly and helpful. She even offered us samples of the sausages to help us decide! We wound up with three types of kielbasa (all amazing!!) and a handful of snack sticks. The staff overall was extremely helpful, and I'm sure they are used to dealing with a lot of "first-timers" in their shop. But, we didn't feel unwelcome at all; in fact, quite the opposite! We may not be from the old country, but we were made to feel more at home than just about any other store we've ever walked into. Park in the back! The front parking area is fine, but you'll be going up and down stairs needlessly and entering through their back door. The main entrance is level with their shop. Next time, when we exit with a metric ton (just kidding) of fresh kielbasa, we'll want to avoid the stairs! Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. We cooked up one of the three sausages a couple of days later, and they were by far the best kielbasa we've ever had! Very lean, very flavorful... simply perfect! I can't wait to visit here again. I saw this on IG and it looked so cute & interesting so I wanted to check it out. It was definitely out of my comfort zone - it's a teeny shop, none of the product labels are in English, and there was a bit of a language barrier with the staff. Both staff and other customers were patient and welcoming nonetheless. But hey, if you're up for a mystery meat adventure you will be awesomely rewarded. We came out with a couple of sandwiches (hot kielbasa, grilled cheese, and chopped liver), plus a few links of kielbasa that we had no idea what they were or what the difference was, a variety of frozen pierogi, and some fresh doughnuts & challah. Food is a universal language and even if you get something you don't like, what's the worse that can happen? The grilled cheese had rustic grainy mustard, which was too spicy for my kiddo but it was a yummy gooey adult grilled cheese. The kielbasa sandwich was perfect, you can't really go wrong with that. The chopped liver was fine, but I didn't care for the toppings on it. It wasn't for me but oh well, I'm still happy I tried it! This was my second time to eat here, but my partner's first. Since it's a small interior, it gets crowded fast. Patience is key for these hand-made, fresh delights - and the wait is worth it! Polish / Czech grocery store. The meat counter is where it is at. There were so many smoked meats and everything, including the bacon, is ready to eat as is (though the lady behind the counter said it is delicious fried up in a pan). I loved that we were able to sample different bologna and kielbasa as we tried to decide what we wanted - the salami with mustard seed? just so good! I especially loved the selection of pierogies - not a huge fan of Mrs Ts because I hate mashed potatoes (I know! I am a monster!), but they had everything from the traditional to cheese to dessert pierogies that I am so excited to try. Drum roll, please! Dat ta da or something close to that, for my 900th review I went to the Kielbasa Factory! I have to give a shout out to my good friend, Anna, who lives in Buffalo, New York! Thank you, Anna! I had admired her paczeki , a Polish pastry and she recommended that I go to the Kielbasa Factory. This pastry is brought in once a week, Friday's, straight from New York. I bought a pudding paczeki and a rose hip jelly paczeki! Both, were glazed and melt in your mouth delicious. I didn't stop at just ordering my pastries, I bought some potato and cheese pierogi's. They are freshly made in the store. They were tender, scrumptious, and made with lots of love. The potato and cheese made the perfect flavor combination. It was soooo good. You know where you will find me on Fridays. There are so many grocery items from fresh kielbasa sausages, polish cheeses, and deli meats. I was looking at all of the mustards and condiments available for purchase. Next time, I am going to get a fresh bobka and a meat soup with sauerkraut. SO GOOD. Some friends of friends told me about this place and it did NOT disappoint! We didn't know what to expect, but they have all kinds of shelf-stable foods, snacks, goodies, and OMG the meat counter. You can get sandwiches/platters or purchase some meats to go and heat up at home (the kielbasa are already cooked). We told them it was our first time, and because we were interested in kielbasa, they cut us some thin slices to try of different varieties. Delicious! After driving back home, looked at some of the packaged meat products purchased and realized it was all over a month past its expiration date. A four back of veal/pork hot dogs had a creation date of 10/10/24 from a vendor out of Chicago, IL. This does not sound like the meat is made in house or warrants a name of the store to be called Kielbasa Factory. Store was extremely crowded and they only have one cashier. Barzdzo Dobze. Very nice shop. Recomend the stuffed cabbage and the candies. The cow candies and the Ptasie Melko (birds milk) is really - really good. They have Ponchki (giant filled donut hole) which I highly recomend. The stores staff are super friendly and you can tell its a legit family business and not a chain. They even make sandwiches like the delicatessans you find in Chicago or New York which I love. Its a bit tough to see from the road since its on the second floor and the roads speed out front moves pretty fast. But I recomend parking in the back, it places you right there. Buy the Kielbasa its legit. Not that store bought hillshire processed crap. read more

Great Polish food! I ordered a meat platter of different sauasages, kilebasa and ham for a party and it was a good size. Also we had pierogie, golumpke (stuffed cabbage) and Polish beer. All food was fresh and tasty. Sina, the owner, and the employees at the meat counter were super-nice and helpful about portions and how to cook the pieogies. Shopping and ordering was a pleasure. You will never want to buy packaged kielbasa from the store after coming here. Strongly suggest the wedding kielbasa. It's delish! They have a great pierogi section, many kinds that are hard to find at your regular store. They have vegetarian, meat filled and even fruit like plum and blueberry! Prices are reasonable. Went to this place yesterday and spent $82. My order included a jar of pickles. I got home and discovered the pickles were bad. I brought them back the next day to return them and the lady at the register lectured me about how I don't know what a pickle is supposed to taste like. Until we found this place, we had to drive from DC to Baltimore to a small Polish deli shop to get all the goodies (smoked bacon, home made kielbasa, dried wild mushrooms, rye bread, pierogi, etc). A friend told us to check out this place In Rockville and I am glad we did. I bought tons of different cold cuts to taste, everything is delish. The only mismatched expectation was Mortadella but when I came home and opened it, it was clearly Bologna. I looked at the sticker label and it said "Mortadella Bologna Kielbasa". Walked in and ordered the fresh kielbasa sandwich special before another lady but she got her exact same sandwich before me somehow. It's Fat Tuesday!!! You know what that means?! Paczki!! That's what motivated this non red meat eating gal to venture onto Rockville Pike on a weekday. What can be better than a Polish Market to buy my fried ball of love from? (Folks in Hamtramck, MI wait in two hour lines for these.) Well... I was expecting to see mounds of powdered sugar topping these goodies. Instead, their paczki are glazed. I can't quite identify what they are filled with either. Generally it's jelly or custard. Mine kinda tasted like and had the consistency of ... apple butter. Hmm? I ate it anyway. Half now; half later. They're huge and worthy of the $1.25 price tag. However, I think I'll stick with Woodmoor Pastry Shop in the future. Paczki aside, just in case you are wondering, this is not a factory that makes kielbasa as perceived by the name. Maybe in the backroom they are. This place is the Polish equivalence of the front half of Cafe Mozart in DC. It has a deli. It sells all kinds of Polish goodies. Let's be honest, most European markets smell bad, they're rude, and based on the layer of dust you have no idea how long the merchandise has been sitting around. NOT SO with the Kielbasa Factory! This place is friendly, clean, well stocked and organized. I sampled several different sausages, bought some beer, mustard and a fantastically cheap grilled kielbasa sandwich. The sausage had a hot smoky taste and was delicious. This will be my go-to place to stock up on sausage, pierogies and on-the go sandwiches. Give it a try. read more

Met one of the onwers here. She is a nice woman. I believe her name is Kristina. The last time I was here, my ex-wife introduced me to the polish blood sausages and one other kind. What is in the blood sausage??? "Another specialty in the Polish food collection is the blood sausage -kaszanka / kiszka in Polish - made of a mixture of pig's blood, pig offal(commonly liver, lungs, skin, and fat) and buckwheat (sometimes barley orrice). All of these ingredients are stuffed in a pig intestine." It tasted very good. I did not buy the blood sausage this time around. I saw a lot of chocolate and I knew I had to buy two bars of the Kinder Milk Chocolate. They will come in handy for someone I know. read more

BP and I were very excited to visit the Kielbasa Factory, even though we do not eat pork. We came in around 6:15 pm and the store was empty save for the three women running the deli and counter. We got spoiled with samples of turkey, beef, and cheese. The blond woman also paid special attention to our dietary restriction. They all had accents ;) BP and I drooled over the variety of stone-ground and specialized mustard and chocolate coated cookies, but bought KinderEggs Surprise, potato and cheese and potato and mushroom pierogies, a corned beef sandwich from the deli and a half pound of turkey breast for lunches this week. We were told to come back for Paczki (almost like a jelly filled donut) on Fridays when the store is open until 8pm and that we can call and order ahead to ensure they don't run out. Finally made it to this place after passing it almost every day. This is really more like an authentic Polish grocery store with a deli and prepared food. The staff was extremely helpful in picking out a kielbasa and gave us some samples to make sure we liked them. We also picked up some homemade pierogies (mushroom and sauerkraut) and they were incredible! Need to return to try more items including some of the sweet pierogies. read more
