This is my first time ever leaving a negative review anywhere but I feel I need to as a parent who values the safety of their child. I would not recommend this place for anyone under the age of 4 unless they do a better job prioritizing safety. There is a blatant disregard for safety at this facility. Multiple gaps where children can trip and fall, exposed poles that are not padded, exposed wires/power outlets, no padded barriers even in areas where there is high risk of falls surrounding the trampolines and many many more. I would also not recommend this place if you value cleanliness. The facilities were noticeably filthy. Dirt, debris, sticky substances and even food particles throughout the gym. The Lego area was covered in grime. Mats were visibly torn and there were multiple holes in the walls. Disappointing to see everything to appear so neglected while charging $39 for open gym. We visited promptly at the start of open gym at 930am and expected things to be in fairly decent shape at the start of the day. I cannot imagine how horrific it is by end of day. First and last time attending, we will not be coming back. read more

Hosted my daughter's 10th birthday here. They all loved it and didn't want to leave. The Encinitas location is the largest. The layout had something for both toddlers and pre-teens. My partner even enjoyed trying ninja warrior challenges too! Anthony was our party host and so helpful. read more

Really happy to have stumbled upon Kid Wonder. The other location is in Linda Vista, not nearly as nice however there's word about a remodel for that one. It took a while for this place to finally open, but with the patience and understanding it's worth the wait. Register online for classes, call and text response is reasonable. The staff are wonderful, younger crowd, but I love that they are sweet with the kids and they tend to follow them more. Classes are small and instructor led for mini ninjas, wonder tots are also wonderful. Tons of area to play for open gym, big side, tunnels, swings, ball pit, giant foam square pit, rock wall, hanging obstacles that are inter changeable for different levels. Reasonable and affordable for what is provided. Bathrooms are extremely clean, gym and equipment also extremely clean and up kept by dedicated cleaning staff. Very appreciative for them since littles are barefoot and hands on. They have competitive and competitions with warriors training which is exciting to see and something to work up to. They have Cian water fountains and refill station Yes parents can play too, don't be shy! Great way to tire out your littles. Please come clean, potty trained, or in fresh Diapers and have waters ready and a nice snack afterwards. Love this place, it's worth the drive and very grateful to have finally a gymnastics gym clean, great coaches, and a variety of things to look forward too. If I were to nick pick on anything, is the run ramp wall definitely needs some tlc and tending too. It's showing wear and tear literally. But no deal breaker, just maintenance. My daughter has been going to KidWonder for 6 months. She absolutely loves it! Her instructor, Anthony, is amazing- very positive, energetic, provides helpful coaching to improve, and appropriately prioritizes safety. I have been other places where instructors keep changing and they act like they'd rather be elsewhere. Not Anthony! The facility seems very clean, including their multi-stall restroom. I also love that the parking lot has plenty of spaces. It is located within a shopping center with a Michael's and a grocery store. read more

Brought my daughter here for open gym on a Saturday. Paid $42 and the place was filthy / dirty. Also, many of their options like the trampoline are not safe -- multiple kids jumping on it at once + no barrier to prevent your kid from falling off and breaking a limb. The gym is great, but the Kinetissori still needs work. Grandpa went with our daughter and saw/heard a kid banging at the door during nap time for around 15 minutes after which he got the attention of one of the caregivers who then finally handled the kid. I wouldn't want my daughter to be ignored for such a long time. read more

My kids absolutely love this place! I've had a hard time finding a place that both my kids enjoy (daughter 9, son7). We've tried gymnastics but my daughter just doesn't feel confident enough there and my son would end up climbing a wall or something else crazy. This place is perfect for both of them, the walls are LITERALLY made for climbing and my daughter could do all the activities without feeling like she wasn't flexible enough. Also the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and was great at keeping my son (ADHD) on track and moving. Recently they've been going through some permitting issues with Encinitas and they've had to close for a while, during this stressful time for them they've still kept in touch with members to give updates and credits for classes missed. Beware of Their Party Services - A Total Scam! We booked their party services and were fully charged for services not delivered as promised. Communication was nonexistent once they got our money. **Key Issues:** 1. **Unfair Changes:** We booked a 3-hour party a month in advance, paid a 50% deposit, and were then requested to change our date/time for a larger party. Four days before our event, they switched our room to a smaller one, forcing us to adjust our decor plans last minute. 2. **Dirty Venue:** Upon arrival, our room was occupied and filthy. We had to clean it ourselves along with their staff, causing a 20-minute delay for the start time. We spent 12% of our event time setting up and doing their job, instead of enjoying. 3. **Lack of Furniture:** After 20 minutes, staff took all our chairs from our room, crew said that manager said that they need them for the party in the other room. We spent 30% of the event with no chairs for the party, even they charged 100% of the package. Our guests had to stand or kneel while eating. Embarraisng experience for us as hosts. They came back with chairs for the last hour of our event. 4. **Absent Management:** The manager was only available via phone to their staff, refusing to take a call from us... leaving young staff overwhelmed and unsupported. My sympathy for these young staff that had to work under these conditions. They are amazing kids working under bad conditions. This was a blatant scam, charging us fully without delivering the promised services, making last minute changes, and not willing to discuss. Despite multiple attempts to contact management post-event, we received no response. Ironically, they reached out persistently when they tried to change our date, phone and email twice a day. Think twice before trusting them with your special occasions. Note: I have photos for all the issues, but won't post them... They are a very bad memory for us... read more

We're so glad this ninja warrior training gym opened in Encinitas. They offer classes from wonder tots (2 year old accompanied by a parent) to level 4 ninja. The facility is amazing and the staff and coaches are great. I've gotta give a shout out to Kim, Drea and coach Zach! I love bringing my kids to open gym and getting chance to have fun and practice new skills with them. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. I wanted to talk to someone ANYONE about my sons enrollment and they never could help me or call me back. They charged me almost $400 upfront without letting me know and then refused to communicate with me about anything. The classes are pretty meh, no music, no vibe and smells like a sweaty gym. The concept is awesome but the customer service is insane, how are they running a business let this I'll never know. I just had to dispute my credit card charge with my bank because they refuse to get in contact with me. RIDICULOUS. read more
