Dr. Di Giovanni, excellent…read moresurgery on my hands, good follow through and attentive care, however...very aggressive billing practices which I am about to appeal. 2. Dr Michael Brand, called and asked if Dr. B was a 'spine specialist'; I was told he was: he is not. When I went to 73, Sandpit Road, I was kept waiting almost an hour...Dr B ' had been called away' and I was told that Dr Grier, a 'physician's assistant would see me. Frankly, I hate this practice which is growing now, but i knew I needed pain killers, an X Ray and MRI so I saw him. Actually, Dr. G was quite acceptable for this early stage visit but I shall fine a spine doctor to review the Xray and MRI. One of the nurses told me that Danbury Orthopedics had a spine specialist. I'll write another review once I have completed my treatment, but take care: ask them to call you if the Doctor is not going to be available. This place is, quite possibly, an ATM for the Doctors - they put Dollars ahead of patients.

Then we rescheduled 1 visit for Friday at 8am and when I came in, they told me I didn't have an appointment and the OT wasn't there. I'd recommend looking for other options in the area.

Didn't start out that way but that's where it is now. This is a for profit organization and they have cut staff over the last 3 1/2 years so that the poor nurses and aides are worked off their feet. They cut all kinds of nice things they used to do like holiday lunches for the patients - and the food is pretty mediocre. But for the inefficiency of the office and the rudeness of same I would say try somewhere else.

I finally got ahold of my grandmother tonight. No one told her of my call. She could have passed it on if she was busy, anything. What if it WAS an emergency?? Thanks Janine. I work long term heath and your reception work makes me worried for my grandma and worried for my own residents under my care if this is how little the front desk contacts the working back room of a facility. Great so far. I've…read morehad two sessions and am suitably impressed with this provider. The therapy/program is suited to my problem, so I'm going to focus on what I liked about the way the facility is run. 1) Not pertinent for me, but easy to get in to, parking is not a fiasco -- this actually is a major afterthought for most places as they try to put in-group offices together. Instead, PT not requiring a drop off and long walk or not having to navigate a bunch of corridors is a pretty big deal. 2) I've been early both times and this place isn't overbooked. Overbooking is an increasing problem among specialties and there is less and less regard for the patient's time. They're busy here, but it's not slammed or over-crowded. Very big plus. 3) You can miss the turn in here, and even though it's a busy road, it's in a location that you have several choices of directions to come with, it's only a 1-on-1 road with good sized breakdown lanes All of the patients seem to value their time there, and everyone that works there seems to be doing what they want to do. Physical Therapy and recovery are a very personalized experience - that appears to be the top priority at Top Hat. If your injury or problem has been particularly discouraging or draining, this is a really big deal an I recommend them highly.

The entire staff are all very friendly, caring and highly qualified at what they do. The office is very clean and everything is in its place. I never felt rushed or ignored. I really felt that they take their patients' needs as priority. (I am hopeful that I will not be going back for some time.). But, if I need PT, that's where I would go.
