oh my gosh. I wish I had found this place way earlier! similar to a previous comment my toddler boys hate haircuts and Ive learned to dread taking them to a salon. After coming here with my two year old though Ive finally found my hair place for my kids. I believe they also do adult hair but the place is geared towards kids. I also want to share that they hve signs everywhere that it is a cash only place but you can use credit card for a $2 surcharge which they did not let me know over the phone when I made my appointment nor did I read it on yelp. 5 stars because it is hard to cut kids hair so I appreciate that they try. My son is terrible and cries or moves a lot but the lady tried her best to calm him down. They have tablets for the kids to watch TV and Netflix as well as YouTube. The prices are reasonable as well. read more

Visited kids styles for my little brothers first haircut. Everything inside the salon was super cute and kid friendly. My 4 year old brother was really excited to sit in one of their car chairs and watch his show on their tv. We waited a little bit and finally when it was his turn he sat in his chair and stayed still the entire time thanks to the kids show that was on. We came in because my brother got gum stuck in his hair and the stylist was able to get it off very gently. I showed her a picture of what I wanted for him and she did a perfect job. Also the salon was very clean and they were doing a great job keeping their salon safe during this time. They sanitized their chairs after every person and wiped down all of their tools as well. It was 20 dollars for a haircut which in my opinion was very reasonable because of their amenities and service was amazing. We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you Kids Styles!! Great experience for my daughters first hair cut. Each seat is a car so she got to choose her frozen car and each seat has a tv so she got to watch peppa pig. She was very comfortable and enjoying her time there. She got a first haircut certificate and bow plus her picture taken. Over all a fun experience. We drove 2hrs to take our son to get a hair cut here. The place is nice but the the lady that was going to cut my son's hair was so rude and had no patience since the beginning. My husband showed her what haircut we would like and the first thing she said was do you think he is going to let himself but in a rude way. My son was calm and sitting in the lightning McQueen car and she seemed frustrated at I don't know what. I guess my son felt her negative vibe and he started crying. The lady got more upset and we decided to leave. I think if you are going to work with children you need to have patience and be friendly with them. I would not recommend this place to take lil ones. read more

We were driving by and saw the sign guy signaling us to the grand opening of Kids Styles. Daughter needed major bag trim so we stopped in. Place is so clean and colorful. There was no one there, so no wait at all. The woman who helped us (don't know her name) was very efficient and kind. She didn't mind when my daughter told her not to use the dryer because it scares her. 5 minutes later, my daughter can see again and is happy with her lollipop and free toy each kid gets after a cut. We called 4 times yesterday to try to make an appointment an no one answered the phone. We took our 2 boys in for cuts today and the stylist was so rude. Stated they were short staff and that's why they didn't answer the phone. Not a way to run a business. This was our first and last time there. I recommend going to Snip It's in Monrovia. They are wonderful there and the staff is beyond friendly, even when busy. read more

I have been coming here for the past two years with Yuri, I definitely recommend this location to any parent... and especially any parent with a kid with special needs! My son has autism and Yuri has the most patients and makes it quick and fast to cut his hair ( trust me it can be so difficult because he moved and cries and screams ) but yet and still she makes us feel welcomed as well as the staff does. This place is a hidden gem. We took our son here couple weeks ago. He's 2 and he would cry briefly whenever we tried to get his haircut done. Therefore, his hair always turned out so crooked since he was little. Finally we decided to take him to someone who has experiences. We found this place. Went through all the reviews and decided to give a call. I called them on Saturday afternoon and asked if they do walk in. The lady on the phone told us it would be 45mins waiting. When we got there, there was 2 more kids ahead of us. But the owner was so fast and professional. We didn't have to wait for so long. My son was scared a little bit at first but then she distracted him and talked to him while doing the haircut. It took about 10-15 mins. He was smiling the whole time. My 21-month-old son absolutely hates getting his haircut. He usually cries terribly through the whole thing. He refuses to step foot into the usual place we'd take him to. I got my 3 year old a haircut here today. The hair dresser is very professional. It's my son's first haircut outside so at first he doesn't want to stay on the seat. Then he was offered a lollipop and he sat well thereafter. There is Kids TV show in every seat and my son enjoyed the whole process. I liked the results of his haircut very much too.
