We just wrapped up my son's third birthday party and I had to write this review. Thanks to Kids Party with Ruby, my husband and I had a stress free party and we were actually able to talk with the other parents (I know!). Of course, the kids had a fantastic time as well, Ruby and her assistants brought great energy and were able to make every kid (even the more tentative ones) feel comfortable and want to join in the fun. The face painting was spectacular - great detail, long lasting and didn't smear off. I don't think many kids are letting their parents wash their faces tonight! And the balloon art is something you'll want to save as well. Hiring Ruby and Co. was the best decision I made for this party. You won't regret it either. read more

Ruby was extremely professional and a great party host! She came a little early and gave the birthday boy a special balloon crown and sword. Then they came back with the paw patrol characters and kept the kids entertained for am hour. It allowed the adults to sit back and enjoy themselves and the kids had a blast! read more

Kids Party With Ruby - Party & Event Planning Near Me - Glendale, New York

We were so fortunate to have found Ruby! Everything she brought to my daughter's party was far above expectations: the decorations were epic, the face painting was beautiful beyond any I've ever seen, the balloon animals were elaborate and impressive, the party favors were adorable. And all delivered promptly and with a smile. Thank you so much, Ruby!! read more

Ruby and her assistant were excellent. She arrived 20 minutes ahead of her start time to set up and even took the initiative to ask a child if she wanted some face painting a few minutes before the agreed upon time. Our event was unique in that we shared our party space with other diners/parties that were not a part of our event. So, we had noticed that children from outside of our event group coming up to ruby and asking for face painting and balloons. This upset me and I had to address it to the parents whose children were taking advantage of free services. I also had to apologize to Ruby because she had no idea. Later in the evening, Ruby would look over at me if she suspected that the child asking for a balloon was not part of the event. She was right and we had to tell them off. It's so silly to me because I hate to embarrass a parent and put them on the spot, just ASK me and don't try to grab free services. I'm generally nice and I'll give you if you just ask. Anyway, Ruby always took the initiative to make every child happy at the party and this is most important to me. She was very professional and went above and beyond to cheer up my daughter who was having a terrible night. Overall, she was punctual, friendly, professional, kids loved her, and she was very talented in face painting and balloons. She offered a lot of varieties of shapes, animals, characters, etc. Everyone was very impressed. Thank you again Ruby and assistant! read more

Kids Party with Ruby did an amazing job with face painting 21+ party guests at my sons 3rd birthday party. The kids could ask for any face paint character/theme they wanted and Shelly did such an impressive job! Everyone was asking about who did the face painting. 5 stars for Kids Party with Ruby! I will definitely use them again! read more

Ruby is the best face painting I have ever seen. That being said...they arrived 4 minutes after the party was the begin. No time to properly set up. The kids were only given one ceramic(instead of 2). And the $200 additional for balloon twisting was comical. The balloons you see posted are not what you will actually get. You will only get swords. I would recommend Ruby for face painting, but find another balloon twister, and party helpers and crafts. Very disappointed. read more

Just awesome!! had no idea how to celebrate my nephew's birthday. A friend recommended kids party with ruby and told me that they'd take care of the fun and they totally did. Will totally hire them again for his next party!! read more

Outstanding addition to my son's bowling party! I reached out to Ruby about a month before my son's 6th birthday party and she was very accommodating given the short notice. We rented a larger room for after the bowling and Ruby came fully staffed to be able to cater to our party of about 18 kids. The face painting was quick, because the 6 year olds are antsy, and still so detailed. The girls looked like fairies afterwards and all the boys looked like super heroes. She provided music and games that kept the kids engaged and entertained at the same time. Would definitely recommend for any parent or any type of birthday party, whether it's in a backyard or at a party hall. The kids were all happy and my son tells me everyone is still talking about it at school. read more

Ruby's parties are amazing. Kids and clients needs are always first priority. I love the professional face paint, games, and music. The kids are always happy and thankful after meeting the cartoon of their choice in person. Mickey Mouse Minnie Mouse and Elmo are their favorite. Many more to choose from. Very organized and cordial. Excellent service friendly staff. Also love the complimentary professional photos. Do not regret booking. Very affordable party prices. read more

Ruby may be talented but watch out for how she treats children. The way I saw her act toward a five year old waiting for a balloon was appalling. As a party I attended with my children was ending, the last little boy sat waiting for a balloon as many children in front of him were receiving them. The party was ending and I'm sure Ruby was eager to be done with it and get paid. As she handed a balloon over to another child, she turned to the last boy whose face she had painted in Batman style earlier and said, " We're done Batman". She then closed her case and packed up as the little boy ran to his father crying. Seeing this, I approached one of her workers who had been manning the air pump. He gestured to Ruby. I approached her wanting to give the benefit of the doubt that she didn't realize how upset the little guy was. Her response to me was, "Yeah well, he already got like 5". I couldn't believe it. One last balloon would not have created a problem as most of the children had left. As I left with my family, I saw that the little boy was holding a balloon and I thought Ruby had done the right thing by making it up to her last customer. Hours later I found out that MY five year old daughter took the balloon from her 3 year old brother (with his permission) to soothe her friend. For me, it's not just what someone does as the party is going on but how they comport themselves from beginning to end. Ruby was nasty to the little boy and to me. If you have a giant suitcase full of balloons and a crying child-do the right thing Ruby!!! read more

Ruby is so talented. This was the first time my daughter Olivia allowed someone to pain her face and with such detail! She was super sweet with all the kids, and very accommodating by staying a little longer. We bought a package which included Minnie Mouse. Minnie Mouse was so engaging and full of energy the whole time! Ruby's staff was amazing! Can't wait for the next party! read more
