It's obvious through her work that she's very passionate about what she does. I will use Foodie Delites again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a personal chef that will cater to their needs.

I have a hobby and a deep appreciation for fine dinning and good meals so I am able to recognize a good dish when I try it. The taste of every single dish that I prepared under Chef Lida's supervision amazed me!. No matter the cuisine style that we prepare Italian, American, French - the taste of the meal was always outstanding. I have learned from her Chef's secrets to make a dish go from good to superb. She is an amazing Chef and she explains every step of the meal preparation and gives you great tips and recommendations. She is a very energetic, positive, amicable person. And above all she is passionate about creating delicious, healthy, and good looking food. I would recommend her to anyone that would like to improve her/his cooking skills or to anyone that would have a personal celebration and would like to make that event special for everyone. She will prepare the best menu and she will go above and beyond to meet your guests needs. Patricia González

I really like this shop. They bring old-world artisanal PASSION to cheese. I'm glad I found this shop, I will definitely be coming back!

REALLY, you buy this local institutions goods at Farmer's Market. You know what? I will help them out and put the locations at which to purchase this fermented cow milk: Downtown - Republic Square Saturdays 9am-1pm; Sunset Valley - Toney Burger Center Saturdays 9am-1pm; Triangle Park - 46th St & Lamar Wednesdays 3pm-7pm; East 5th & Waller Sundays 11am-3pm. That being said, I have given you a little teaser. Now, look at their website to find stores which distribute their goods. How the heck is this cheese, you ask? It is not bad. Though I found the cheeses to be very one-noted and dry, they were definitely rich--this being the result of utilizing the feed for babies from well-treated cattle. The Especial, Seco, and Classico are all similar in texture, flavor, and overall character. In fact, they are not easily distinguished from one another. They would do fine as a secondary ingredient in a simple dish, such as tacos or quesadillas, but they wouldn't hold up to wine or serve well in a grilled cheese. For the latter 2 items, I would go with their Cheddars, which have a bit more bite. They have a wide selection as compared to other cheeseries in the Austin area, as many seem to really just go after the goat cheese fanatics. Nothing too crazy in terms of production and variety here, but give them a shot. The fermented dairy comes from Texas after all. The people who work here are also super awesome and are ready to take care of you when you have questions or concerns about where your cheese is going. Hehe.. you pay cheese for cheese.

I set up a bachelor party for my brother and his 15 friends, we were staying in a house outside of Austin. I knew we were going to have barbecue for lunch and asked Chef Bon to help set up a dinner. She set up a call to discuss a menu and e-mailed me an example of menu items. During our call, she asked all of the necessary questions: how many people, any dietary restrictions, what kind of food, etc. Since my brother likes all kinds of food, she instead asked what restaurants he likes. She said she would revisit the menu items and get back to me. She adjusted the menu to factor in the restaurants and the barbecue we were going to have for lunch. It was a perfect balance to accommodate the attendees and compliment the barbecue from earlier. When we finalized all of the details, she reached out to the house we rented to find out what supplies she needed to cook the dinner. Although they had mostly everything she needed, she still brought her own supplies. All of the preparation culminated to a wonderful, perfect dinner! She had everything prepared on time, explained all of the menu items in detail, and even let you try food in the kitchen while she was preparing the food. She made it feel like we were having dinner at her home. All in all, it was a perfect experience. It was incredibly convenient to have a personal chef, but I couldn't imagine our experience would have been better than Chef Bon.

The apps were ready when we arrived home, and the food kept flowing at a comfortable pace after that. The leftovers didn't last the evening! Her sparkling personality was the cherry on top. Can't wait to do this again next year when we are back in town. Highly recommend you try her and her amazing meals as well.

I have followed Assemble Cocktail Workshop on Instagram and have always thought it looked super…read morefun, so when a friend wanted to do a private party for her birthday - it was a no brainer! We arrived a bit early and Lillian quickly whipped us up a welcome cocktail which she called "A Walk in the Garden". It was a prosecco based cocktail and absolutely delicious (and pretty). While we enjoyed this cocktail and looked around the shop... she prepared the workshop space for the lesson. The birthday girl had been given a list of cocktails in advance and was able to select the ones she wanted to learn how to make (she selected the Blackberry Smash & Bee's Knees). One thing I loved about this class is that Lillian gave options with each cocktail so that everyone would end up with a drink they loved. For example, if you don't like bourbon which is typically in a Bee's Knees... you could use gin instead! Then we had the options to make it spicy/sweet/herbal/ etc. By the end of the class... we all had different and personalized cocktails. In addition to the cocktails, Lillian prepared a large bowl of popcorn with specialty seasonings and showed us some of the fun tools that can be used for different prep methods. We also had downtime between making each drink to enjoy them and chat amongst ourselves. This class made for the perfect outing... we're already talking about doing another for the next girl's weekend. I cannot recommend this class enough and will absolutely be back!

I was doing a birthday weekend with friends in Boerne and came across Assemble Cocktail via Visit Boerne. I booked a private Tiki session for 7 of us and it was the perfect way to celebrate with friends. If there's only one or two of you, you can book an open session that's available. We made Mai Tais and Painkillers - both were delicious. Since I had a couple of folks who were preggo, I notified Lillian and she made sure to have two setups with zero-proof "spirits." Lillian was a great teacher and host. She has aprons and leis so the vibes were perfect. The location is a cute bungalow tucked behind another business on Main Street (kind of easy to miss if you're looking for it right on Main Street). The business started at the beginning of the year, so it's fairly new, but add it to your list of things to do if you're in the Boerne area!
