He loves to go outdoors in the natural play area. Recently, he showed off his ability to add "really big numbers" and how he's now sounding out words. The classroom is beautifully laid out so the kids can move around, preparing snack or doing a big "work" on a rug. I would highly recommend CMC for anyone interested in full day child care and who believes in the beauty of a Montessori education.

The leadership team is outstanding and the teachers do a wonderful job with all the kids. Our daughter (almost 3 yrs) comes home so happy!! The facility is well maintained and very clean, the curriculum is awesome. Their responsiveness to our questions and needs is outstanding. I also love the app they use for communicating updates on our kid's activities throughout the day. The Primrose team did an exceptional job managing throughout Covid and we always felt safe sending our kiddo in. Yes, the waitlist is long BUT it is worth the wait. For the first 18 mos, we had to go to a different daycare in town and the difference in experience was night and day. I can't thank Tobie, Megan, Robert and the entire Primrose Team enough for helping our daughter grow and prosper everyday.

They regularly introduce Montessori skills and practice the lifestyle in every aspect of day to day. Our toddler has learned independent skills that enriched his daily activity, taught him basic skills and increased his confidence. His vocabulary and gross motor ability has thrived since he began attending. I also appreciate the low stimulation environment allowing the children to work together to learn and explore the world around them. They also go out of their way to also make holidays and life events special. They have both an outdoor and indoor play area which is key in ensuring children have active time every single day regardless of weather. We are thrilled with Guidepost and appreciate them being part of the Worthington community!

To be clear ahead, my poor experience was with the administrative staff and not with an enrolled…read morechild. I scheduled a tour online and called to confirm relevant information. The staff member who I spoke to on the phone stated (and insisted) that the school does not require vaccines "because that is not permitted by law" and that simply an e-mail would be enough of a waiver, not even a dictor's notice. This is false in many instances. First, according to Guidepost Montessori Parent Handbook, "Guidepost requires that all enrolled students be vaccinated in accordance with the recommended state schedule.". Lastly, private daycares are allowed by law to enforce vaccine requirements and even be more atruct than government requirements, and a quick google search could have prevented this staff member from spreading misinformation. It is very concerning that staff will misinform potential customers and also clearly state the unit does not follow the franchise's handbook.

More a pre-school than a daycare, they work with Worthington Schools to prepare kids for kindergarten (and mesh schedules with them so that, for example, a kid doing half-day kindergarten can get on the bus here.) The staff and kids seem happy, the facilities are large and well-equipped with play and education supplies. Big playground outside, nice winter gym in the basement. They have yoga classes, music, art, Spanish, etc. Very small classes with good student-teacher ratios. Prices are reasonable, and there are a variety of options for how many days a week, what time to pick up and drop off, etc. And that seems to be a la carte- if you need to drop off early one day because you have an appointment, just sign up and do it, for a small fee.

It has been an exciting, enriching and rewarding experience for all three. Even though we live in a community with a nationally ranked public school system, we chose Wellington because of the small class size and personal attention that a school of Wellington's size can deliver. We have not been disappointed. Our children thrive academically. They also have the opportunity to be in the band, play three different sports (lax, basketball and soccer) throughout the year without worries of being cut from the team (Wellington has a "no cuts" policy) and they can be in theater productions. Wellington encourages diversity in student interests and demonstrates its commitment to diversity in its teachers and in the students it accepts. Wellington parents are friendly, involved and welcome at Wellington. While some schools emphasize "rigor," Wellington seeks "engagement." Wellington students are engaged, active learners who generally are inspired to learn more, do more. It's an amazing place.
