To be clear ahead, my poor experience was with the administrative staff and not with an enrolled…read morechild. I scheduled a tour online and called to confirm relevant information. The staff member who I spoke to on the phone stated (and insisted) that the school does not require vaccines "because that is not permitted by law" and that simply an e-mail would be enough of a waiver, not even a dictor's notice. This is false in many instances. First, according to Guidepost Montessori Parent Handbook, "Guidepost requires that all enrolled students be vaccinated in accordance with the recommended state schedule.". Lastly, private daycares are allowed by law to enforce vaccine requirements and even be more atruct than government requirements, and a quick google search could have prevented this staff member from spreading misinformation. It is very concerning that staff will misinform potential customers and also clearly state the unit does not follow the franchise's handbook.

He struggled in public schools. We met at times monthly with school staff regarding IEP Diectives and goals. The paper looked good but the learning environment could not achieve the goals. We were met in public school with multiple obstacles including unbelievably that public school teachers were not required any special training for learning disabilities. The pain we all went through included student and parent shaming amd other atrocities. Thankfully another parent recommended MARBURN ACADEMY. Right away they took our son to much better learning and social environment. We saw our son blossem and gain self confidence. The teachers are incredible. Our son is now succeeding in a graduate program in molecular genetics and biochemistry. Thank You Marburn. Please go visit this amazing school and consider sending your child.

I immediately noticed that most of the staff did not smile or interact in a happy way with the little toddlers . They constantly barked out corrections to the kids and someone was always in the director , Traci's office being talked to . They eventually kicked our little girl out of the school because she had occasional accidents in her pants. No consideration given to the fact that she might be somewhat behind because of her extreme prematurity. She was very upset to leave all her friends and cried when she couldnt return to class. The staff atDCA are very impatient unless your child is perfect and few are. They really shouldn't be in the childcare business in my opinion. They really put the " Christian"in Delaware Christian academy..... not. Save $200 a week on go elsewhere! Today was her first day at her new school and she told her mom , " I don't have to be nerbous at school" broke my heart. 2 thumbs down for DCA Irately
