Did not greet with a smile, when touring the infant room she told me there were 1 teacher per 4 students. There was 5 kids in there with no other teacher or helper. She told me 6 are enrolled and when there more than 4 they will hire another teacher, as there were more than 4 students in there I kinda looked at her in confusion. I was trying to lighten the mood make jokes and she was not smiling or acting friendly at all. Looked like she hated her life. Then she was telling me I had to put a down payment today to secure a spot and after I said isn't there a special going on, she rolls her eyes and said "oh yeah, but that 200 goes towards your first month". She was just not welcoming at all. Megan called me the day prior said that she will be doing the tour and wanted to chat after the tour about the position I applied for. Megan did not once greet me when walking in, only when I was going to the front to leave then she wanted to say hi and that's it. When Natalie was asking for clarification, Megan gets up and said yes that's it and goes back into the office. We did not have a chat after. For 2500$ a MONTH. Ms. Alex and the teachers are amazing and treat the kids as if they are their own. The kids spend lots of time outside, learning, singing and dancing, and socializing with kids in every classroom. The app that they have is really helpful too! we constantly get pictures, videos and are able to know in real time what the kids are up to during the day. Not only have our kids made lifelong friends but we have been able to meet other parents and build a community here. we cannot recommend KLS enough!

If I wanted any information from the director or the teachers I needed to ask for it, and I often got different responses depending on who I asked. It felt like the teachers relied on the "Tadpoles" app as a crutch so that they did not have to talk to us. Moreover, I was upset at the number of injuries and incidents my son experienced here compared to his placement at another center. His very first day after attending, he came home with horrible diaper rash with open sores. The teachers tried to make excuses for this by saying it may have been because they were serving him fruit. This is ridiculous to me because we had been serving him fruit at home for almost a year at that point. He was constantly sick and had so many bruises, scrapes and bite marks from "incidents" that I was afraid his pediatrician would think he was being abused. It culminated in an incident where he had a febrile seizure in the classroom and the teachers claimed that they had no idea what caused the seizure or if it could have been prevented. They sent him to the ER where his temperature was found to be 102.7. They claimed someone had been holding him when it happened, so how could they not have known that he had a fever? We had also previously told them that he has a history of febrile seizures. As childcare professionals they should have known the signs of a fever and been able to contact us or administer Tylenol to him before the seizure happened. All in all I did not feel safe sending my son here, and I think the teachers and director did not do a good job either communicating or making sure my child was appropriately cared for. I am writing this not to hurt their business but to make sure other parents are able to make an informed choice when it comes to who they trust with their child's care.

As a new parent we were also looking for cleanliness, health & safety guidelines, and we couldn't have been happier with what we saw and learned during our visits. And let it be known, we made several visits as we continued to have new questions, and at no time did we feel like a burden to the staff. They gladly made time for us and answered each of our questions which only made our choice easier. Krystal the director has been wonderful and welcoming to my family and daughter since day 1. We had just moved from Colorado and she made the transition super easy! She is always happily greeting us with any questions or concerns. If she is not in the office we can always count Ms. Laura or Ms. Ally giving our daughter a warm welcome. Ms Donna was my daughter first teacher in the toddler room! She helped us wing away the paci and still greets my daughter with a big hug every morning! The staff there is incredible. They helped me with all my paperwork and every question I had. They even help me with personal problems when I asked for advice. The ladies are amazing and share the same amount of love to each and every child. My son is only two years old, and they have taught him his ABC's, how to count to 10 and all his colors. He has learned every sing-along song and sings them every day on our car ride home. I drive 30 minutes just so my son can go to this Kinder Care. My son and I love it there and all the staff.
