Have shopped and sold here a handful of times now. Overall I recommend it if you don't have crazy expectations. As far as shopping there, they never seem to have much selection in the size/s I'm shopping for, so I dont buy a lot at once, but I typically pick up a few things each trip. I find the selling side to be kind of hit and miss. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised with the payout, other times (more recently) kind of underwhelmed. Also I really wish their turn around time was a little quicker, it typically seems to take around 6 hours +\- for them to get thru your stuff; so I always have to return the next day, which isn't the most convenient. read more

There is little to no selection every time I come in for toddler clothes. Some things are overpriced. The reason people go to second hand stores is to be able to afford nicely used clothes but they take it as an opportunity to rack up a price. Why would a pair of GAP shorts cost $10? I took my kids size 4-5T clothes here. I made sure to Pre sort everything so only the new looking stuff was in the box. They took about half. They offer cash or a little bit more if you take store credit. Ended up with like $50 or so in credit. I shopped around and found some cute stuff. Because everything is in "like new" condition it is a little more expensive than places like good will. Tops are around $5 each. I got a really cute gymnastics warm up outfit for $7. I will continue to bring things here. The sort through your stuff in about 24 hours and send a text when they are done. Easy, painless process. I do want to remind those who felt like donating to places like goodwill was a better use of your clothing that many of these places are for profit as well. I understand there is a "good cause" behind them however, this is a local, small business that I would rather support. It's well organized and doesn't smell like moth balls. read more

Excellent experience every time! I love going to kidding around to sell our gently-used kids clothing. Our kids are growing so fast that it is so nice to have a place to take the items they have worn maybe once or twice (or in some cases not at all - ugh!) and know Kidding Around makes it possible for someone else to enjoy those items! Lots of options, except bathrooms. A lot of expecting moms and moms with kids in tow shop here. How do you not have bathrooms? Seems like a missed opportunity. Ironically, they send you to the Kohl's next door, whose bathrooms are by the Kid's clothing. Makes you wonder how many moms, while waiting for the bathroom, buy stuff from there instead? The store was also miserably warm, aisles were very congested and not very orderly, and the staff seemed rather indifferent to our being there. read more

Well, what can you say about having a child, all your probably really need is a about 5 onesies and you will be good to go! But in the world today we think we need stuff and of course a baby is going to need lots of stuff. So you end up having 40 onesies, 14 tshirts, 22 pairs of pj's, pants in every color... you get my point and then 4 months later the child has grown out of all these clothes.. What to do, do you toss them in a bag and head toward Goodwill, get that tax break, or do you go to Kidding Around where they will sift through your babys clothes that are filled with the memories of a first word, step, high five, like they are fruit at the grocery store picking out that glorious 1 or 2 apples that are going to change the world... Then they will give you a few bucks for them in trade or cash and you are out into the world again with your bag of memories headed to the donation center at Goodwill. The staff here was nice and the store was a little crazy with stuff in every corner but as a new parent that makes it kinda feel like home. read more

I have taken gently used or brand new baby items in to sell twice. Both times I was taken back at how rude and stiff the employees were. In fact, one employee was arriving to work as I was carrying a big tote in and she opened the door, walked in and let it slam in front of me. No one there smiles, much less takes time to show appreciation for their customers who basically donate items for them to markup. I made virtually no money on nice brandname items. I would suggest trying another consignment store or donating. It is not worth the hassle and rudeness for a few dollars! read more

THIS CHILDREN'S STORE HAS NO BATHROOM!!! You will get a no f&$*s given attitude when your 3 almost 4 year old is about to pee their pants. Even if you have an older child trying on clothes in the changing room. They DO have a bathroom it is just in a shared space with the other store and they will make no exceptions for emergencies. You will have to frantically dress your older child and then run to Kohl's to very BACK of that store to use the restroom. Having no available restroom in a child's clothing store makes zero logic!!! read more

I took an entire basket of clothes there for resale. When I returned they did accept any of my items. When told why they stated they were too old or too worn. Everything was under 2 years old or brand new with the tags still attached. Most of it is name brand also. I drove out of my way for nothing. Staff is also rude. I will not be going back there again. read more

Horrible customer service , it was my first experience bringing items in not one associate unexplained anything to me when I returned to pick the items up they did not make me aware of what they were keeping and what I'd be getting back. The attitudes from the workers we're so rude when I asked questions I'd never buy or sell anything In kidding around again I did not feel welcomed. Kidding Around is AMAZING! The prices are unbeatable for name brand clothes, such as Abercrombie & Fitch. My sisters and I love to shop here whenever we are in town and my mom always takes us because all of the clothes are gorgeous, appropriate and in great condition (In fact, some of the clothes still have the original tag!!) The service is also unbeatable; the employees are kind,friendly, and help as much as possible! My last time in town, I came multiple times. Employees restock cute new clothes every day. There is a large range in sizes. All of my siblings shop here. Last time I was here, I got a lot of clothes. My family was impressed because they also had stunning and elegant dance costumes. My sisters and I got many. Overall, this is my favorite store in the world! They have everything!! My little sister got nice toys and shoes that were in great condition and my sister and I got got books that looked brand new. Very clean and organized store. Great deals on name brand clothes, lots of toys and baby equipment too! I bring all of my three daughters' clothes and toys here when we are done with them and have been very happy with what I've gotten for them.
