I did not actually go to the Kid Tire Store st the location I'm posting on, as Yelp does not have it listed, rather their other Oakhaven area location: GoodYear store, about 1.5 miles north of I-30 off the RT 29 exit, on RT32, just past the RT32/RT29 split, or state Rt217 intersection, AKA Treadco on Apple Maps. It is unfortunate that this affiliate business is not on Yelp so that the proper store location can receive the benefit of review, as I'm certain most, if not all would be very positive. (Attention Yelp IT people: You need to get on this) I had trailer tire blowout on I-30 and needed a quick change and a new tire. After I got the spare mounted I called the store I found on Apple Maps. Even though they were obviously very busy, Steve, the store manager, hooked me up with Seth who got the spare swapped back out with my wheel and new steel radial tire lickety-split! The cost was very reasonable and everyone was very professional. I can highly recommend the Goodyear store at their location described above. read more

Ronnie Kidd as as good a man as they come. I happen to own an automotive repair shop in Austin so it's always a challenge when I need service while travelling. In this case, on a trip in July, our 5th wheel blew a tire and did some damage to the trailer brakes. We were forced to stay the night in Hope, and thankfully we did. We found Kidd tire across the highway, called and told Ronnie our situation and he confirmed he had a couple of tires on hand. We got the truck and trailer over there and he took over. His team was professional: going so far as to pull the underpinning of the trailer down to access the electrical splice for the trailer brakes and run new wiring. It was 100deg and the guys never complained about having to work in the sun since our 5ver wouldn't fit in the garage. The foreman (forget his name) even checked a few things in the truck for me at my request. Again, super accommodating, professional workmanship and the most hospitable place to have to spend an unplanned day while travelling. I imagine anyone reading this and considering service in Hope already knows about Ronnie: for those of you who find yourself in need while making your way across Arkansas, just let him know Gregg referred you.
