I have one child in Kindergarten and another in 3rd grade who attends their after-school program, and both programs have been wonderful for our family. The teachers and staff are caring, attentive, and clearly love working with the kids. My kindergartener has learned so much and always comes home excited to share about their day. For my 3rd grader, the after-school program has been incredibly convenient. Cadence provides pickup from the elementary school, which makes life so much easier for busy parents. They also offer a summer program that keeps the kids active and engaged. Overall, we've been very happy with Cadence. The teachers are great, the staff is friendly, and it's reassuring knowing our kids are in a safe and supportive environment.

We recently moved and will have to start looking for a new daycare nearby but I don't want to leave them, even though the commute is 30+ min now. My son is completely potty trained, thanks in large part to the support of their staff by kicking off the process. They have a unique, open concept with no enclosed rooms and I love that the kids (and parents) all know each other. Also, one of the biggest ways they supported my son is their flexibility with his meals due to a milk protein allergy. They substitute what they can for him and I only bring in a couple of things every now and then to supplement. I'm finding out now that not all daycares are as accommodating! My son talks about them all the time and I absolutely love them too.

I was shocked at the school's poor rating so I felt compelled to leave a review. I noticed a lot of…read morethese reviews are quite old and our daughter has started attending the school within the last year. I believe that some changes have been made regarding some of the complaints I see in these older reviews. Most importantly, our daughter loves the school. She is so excited to see her friends and teachers every day. I have never once had any concern that she was being mistreated in any way. When she was younger, we sent her to Bright Horizons daycare which was horrendous compared to NCMA. We get a daily paper report about our daughter's activities and interactions. I do appreciate that the teachers take the time to hand-write these notes everyday but I would prefer some sort of app to save paper and also see photos. The only other thing that I could possibly complain about is the playground for the younger children which, in my opinion, is a little too safe and could use something for the children to climb on and slide down. However, some may not see this as a bad thing. The school uses organic produce and milk (meat is conventional) and we were allowed to see the kitchen when touring the school. Also when touring the school, I was impressed that the director knew every child's name and greeted each warmly. During our tour, we were shown all of the classrooms and I was especially impressed with the infant room which was very quiet and quite different from most other daycares that I have toured with crying babies everywhere. I really liked that sleeping babies were given a quiet area to nap unlike a lot of other daycares where they are expected to sleep in noisy classrooms. Whenever I have had a question or concern, a meeting has been arranged with our daughter's teacher within 24 hours. Overall we are very pleased with NCMA and we are planning on enrolling our youngest soon.

When I brought this to the attention of the staff they were extremely uncooperative. I was advised by the teacher (Ms. Peace and Ms. Lupita) and the administrators (Heather/Caitlyn) they were under strict orders to not access any cameras and only the head of the school could see them. I reported this immediately to the head of the school/owner, Fahima Rouabah, she ignored my concerns and failed to investigate the matter. I received an email from Fahima Rouabah16 days after the incident only to advise me the camera footage had been erased. This was huge red flag for me considering they knew about my concerns on the day it occurred. They showed me an incident report but refused to provide me a copy. Additional concerns for me was the class ratios were completely unsafe - I walked in once to find one teacher with about 20 children. They mislead me to believe they offer organic food but this was untrue as they feed the children lucky charms and raisin bran for breakfast. The head of the school/owner Fahima Rouabah poorly managed this situation and was extremely unprofessional. There was no empathy, urgency or genuine concern for my child's safety. I have file a complaint with child protective services against this facility to look into my concerns and a complaint with the BBB as well regarding my concerns and to demand my tuition be reimbursed. Parents please do not hesitate to contact me directly for any additional questions or to view the photos/emails regarding this matter.

What's nice is that they keep the classrooms small and intimate and the teachers are there to stay! The entire time my son was there, none of the teachers left. Consistency is important when they're that young. In the beginning, it might take a little bit of adjusting because their system isn't streamlined like other daycares. So communication can be a bit slow, but if you're patient with them, you won't regret it because the things that matter and are important are there. They keep your child safe so you don't have to worry about their well-being and they make sure every student thrives. You have peace of mind while you're working or busy throughout the day. And you know your child is getting lots of attention because the class sizes aren't as big as some others that have up to 18 kids or more in one classroom. I'm very thankful to them and I highly recommend this Montessori!

The teachers there are talented treasures wrapped in patience. I'm so sad to have to leave, I wish you had all the grades :) Also, the price & food is really good there. We moved to Frisco from NY. We went through 2 daycares in NY before we started here. We checked out several montessoris before we signed up for Frisco Trails. There are fancier, more expensive options in Frisco. I wanted my daughter to be in a comfortable, safe environment that's also down-to-earth and not a five-star hotel. We were very happy overall with the montessori. There was some teacher turnover, but not a lot. They dont have too many more closed days than the federal holidays. Teachers paid individual attention to the kids. They have parent-teacher meetings few times a year to update parents on the child's strengths and areas of improvement. There would be time for study but also play, frequent fun activities. My kids bring home amazing crafts. Every week the toddles have a new learning theme, like continents, plants, oceans. They email us every weekend about a summary of the last week, and teaching lined up for the next week. My daughter has learned to read and write fairly well before she goes to KG. They don't have a fancy app to message parents, but in my past experience, updating apps takes up teachers' time and concentration away from their main focus on children. Emails have worked just fine. The teachers and administration are easy-going and generally accommodating. I put my younger kid here as well. She had frequent viral infections her 6 months or so, after that its been pretty smooth. This past winter was not bad at all.

We have met several other teachers there and they are all very nice. Our son has learned and developed so much being there. All the events they have done, they make it so special for the kids and parents. We also did the summer program and our son loves this too. His favorite was the petting zoo day - the school set up a petting zoo at the school for the kids to enjoy. if i could rate 0 i would I brought my son in for a "trial"…read moreday. I specifically asked to be notified if my son was having a hard time and wasn't. I text both directors within one hour of dropping him off asking how he was doing and received NO response. After a while i was set up on the parent app and sent a picture of my son "hugging" another kid with the caption "making friends". First red flag! My son will not just hug anyone infact he wouldn't know what to do if you asked him to do that so i was positive this was staged! According to the schedule, my son should have been in circle time, so I asked for a picture of him and circle time in which I received a picture of him from behind. Knowing my son I could tell from his past year, he wasn't happy even though I couldn't see his face so I asked to see a picture of his face and no one ever responded, this caused me to go to the school and pick him up. When I arrived, there was a lady that I had never met at the front desk. The doors were not locked. I just walked right in and as I'm walking past her, I told her I was going to check on my son and she said OK, there was no check for ID no lock on the door nothing! Upon arriving to my sons class I'm looking through the two way mirror for my son I couldn't find him. This was because he was at the bottom of the door crying. I open the door picked up my son and his eyes were almost swollen. Shut from crying. I asked the teacher how long he had been crying. She said for 30 minutes I asked why she didn't call me she said because she thought he would stop! This is crazy because I asked for them to call me if he was having a hard time and clearly they did not. Another issue is all of the teachers are foreign, and have heavy accents, so for a toddler to be placed in an unfamiliar environment with teachers who do not speak clear English isn't very comforting. This was my first time meeting the teachers because when I went for a tour, it was at 5 PM when they were getting ready to close so the teachers had left. So I proceed to pick up my son, take all of his belongings and walk out the door when I arrived home 20 minutes later, one of the directors which I text at 9:45 responded to my inquiry of how my son was doing by saying."HE IS DOING VERY GOOD MOMMY HE IS EATING LUNCH"! I then responded"He can't be eating lunch because I PICKED HIM UP 20 MINUTES AGO" she then responds with "you don't want him to eat lunch"? I responded with "WOW I PICKED HIM UP YOUR LYING" of course i got no response. BEWARE!!!! Directors are Kara and Mona! They present well but they're LIARS! Always trust your motherly instincts!
