I couldn't find frilly socks for my 6-month old granddaughter, but Ms. Doria had them for only $5. There is another children's clothing store in town, but I'm afraid to go there because the window display is so fancy that it must be much more expensive than here. There were huge piles of clothes, and hangers on the floors everywhere in the store. Instead of cleaning anything up, I saw one employee picking clothes out of a pile and trying them on. Another kicked an item that was on the floor under a table, rather than picking it up. None of the employees greeted me or interacted with me.They seemed oblivious, lazy and lacking any customer service skills. I don't normally shop at Old Navy, but after this experience I'd never, ever go back there again.

The Salvation Army on Martin Luther King Jr. blvd in Jersey City is a predominantly African-American poor area, this rundown unkept Salvation Army employs only Hispanic workers and they overcharge their prices. There's trash outside the building. Customers have seen the Hispanic workers take a shopping cart every evening taking the best stuff and sending it to Puerto Rico. There was a woman charged for books that were supposed to be free.
