She sees different people and each one makes her feel a little better than the last. Has it been easy? NO, but it has always been progressive. The staff knows when to push and knows when to ease up. When I first went to OPPT, I could not play my instrument for 5 minutes without pain in my left arm and elbow. My therapist told me this would not be a quick fix, and she was right. However, several months later, I can now play for two hours a day or more without pain or discomfort, so I am more than satisfied with this outcome. I worked mostly with Emily and occasionally with Paul, but really, from what I could see, all the therapists there were experienced and competent. But what impressed me the most (besides the skill of the staff) was what I guess what you would call the ambience of the place. Everyone was so positive and upbeat, people were talking to each other, the atmosphere was so pleasant. i actually looked forward to going there every week.
