First time customer and I will start off by saying the CUSTOMER SERVICE was horrible. I am not sure if we went on a bad day or it was just our waitress but wow smh. I usually try to cut people some slack when I know they are understaffed or super busy but none of these were the case. It took about 5 minutes (keep in mind it was only 2 of us waiting- no one else) to be asked if we had been helped and to be seated. 11 MINUTES for our waitress to come to the table (after being seated) and 9 minutes for her to bring our 2 sodas out (I believe her name was Areli). After the food had been brought out she did not check if we needed anything else! NOT ONCE ...to ask how our food was, or if we needed a refill, or anything else! (Only other time She walked over to our table was to hand is the check) HOWEVER I will say another waitress was walking by and was nice enough to stop by and ask if we needed ketchup or mustard for our fries. FOOD QUALITY: We decided to try their dirty HB and their country chicken HB and I will say they were pretty good... Now the fries smh they were a different story. I got the seasoned wedges and those were ok. Now the ones my brother got (their regular French fries) couldn't have been any nastier! They were served cold but burnt and stale. Would've said something but like I said before our waitress never came to check so we just ended up sharing our fries. PRICE: Pricing is moderate and BIG portions are served! Would i recommend? NO! Although their burgers were good and prices were moderate it is NOT enough to get me to come here again if the rest of their food is no good. This is my first time trying this place and i must say the allure is there when you look at all the menu choices. I Had their dirty country style chicken and eggs and was not impressed at all.It was nacho cheese and what looked to be prefrozen chicken and the taste was mediocre at best. My bf had the hot link and eggs. The hot link tastes like a regular sausage with no spice and his hash browns were very under done. The only thing good about our meal was the snickers shake. Hand the "dirty omelette" is appeared to be covered with velvetta cheese. There were flies all over the place and very hot near the window. We loved several times. Normally it's good but not today. This place is alright. Their flapjacks are pretty good, but their syrup is not. It's too watery. Syrup should be a little thick. I like that their mascot is a bunny, but the mural of the bunny underwater, snorkeling is kind of weird. I guess the kids like it, though... I've been a customer for over 10 years and I've always had great customer service. Today I'd have to say I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! The waitress was great but the management was horrifying and so unprofessional I don't know if I will return. This older man (whom I gathered was the manager) was yelling and scolding the waitresses in clear view of all the customers. My waitress saw that we weren't happy with the order since we didn't ask for a to go container. She offered to see if they could take it off the bill. Most restaurants will to make the customers happy. He was scolding her about even asking. Then he proceeded to talk about Other waitresses in front of everyone. This type of person shouldn't be in hospitality!! He was not pleasant in any type of way. I was embarrassed for the women that work there. By looking at my waitress when she returned to the table you can tell she was embarrassed for being yelled at in front of everyone. I'm very familiar with working in a customer driven industry and this clearly isnt the way to conduct business. Turns out he's an owner. Poor employees!!! read more

RAncho Cucamonga Kick Back Jack's is amazing. Serving sizes are great. However, the place doesn't smell nor feel clean. Maybe wiping floors and tables with disinfectant and opening doors to let fresh air in will remove stale food odors and cockroach pesticide smells. read more

Amazingly large meals!!!! Not joking! Eater beware. But very tasty.....the pancakes are the size of a human head!!! The plates are big (that was the first indicator of what I was about to see. Used to love this place, but the service and wait is absolutely horrible. Highly discourage anybody from dining here, and I am pretty easy to please. My boyfriend and I were seated outside on the patio, ready to enjoy a nice breakfast. After we were seated, four other families were seated around us. My boyfriend and I ordered one breakfast entree each, which included 1 eggs Benedict and 1 eggs skillet. A few minutes after we ordered, the other families ordered their meals...As we waited over 30 minutes, we realized that the families (who ordered after us) already received their food. We were confused, since the families had 4 people each compared to just us two and even received the Eggs Benedict that my boyfriend ordered before. With no breakfast still, every group had already finished eating their meals, paid, AND left. No server came to apologize for the wait or even came close to our table. I finally became impatient, so I went inside to talk to one of the workers after 10 additional minutes of the previous guests already leaving. I explained to her that everyone who ordered after us already received their food even left. I inquired if our orders had gotten lost and if we could get this situation handled, since we weren't expecting to be there so long...No apology or anything. Finally, we received our orders. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's Eggs Benedict was so cold that the hollandaise sauce was already skinning. He even found two hairs after eating 2/3 of his meal. Usually we wouldn't be this upset about the quality, but after waiting for so long and KBJ's pricier items...it was really unacceptable. This situation could've been handled better, but there was no apology or any offer for a discount. In my opinion, this is unacceptable service and quality for a $40 meal. Not coming back, especially since I have not received service this bad before. If you're looking for a warm breakfast with a reasonable wait time (after being served) - don't expect to find it here. boy, yelpers really let us down on this one. may be because we are not from this area, but really don't see the attraction of this place. saturday morn at 9:30AM got seated right away. that was the best part ( although the homemade salsa is pretty good). our server took the order of a table seated after us although we were quite clearly in view. i asked for my meal to be cooked slightly longer that normal. it did not come out that way and the server was obviously aware because she asked if we wanted it cooked longer when she brought if to the table. since the others food was being served all at the same time, it did not make sense to send one dish back and why would she serve it if she knew it wasn't right? anyhow, i ate what i could and then had to ask it to go back to the kitchen to be prepared the way i had requested. everyone else was done, of course, by the time it came out, not to mention the plate was missing some of the other items on the plate i had not eaten yet when it was sent back to the kitchen! i can see that folks in this area must love the amounts of food served, but the size of the portions were more necessary for normal sized folks. i am thinking the ratings are high here on portion size alone. read more

I've been here three times, simply because it's one of the very few non-corporate chain dining establishments out here in rancho cucamonga, and I can tell you it is basically terrible. The service is fine and helpful, and the portions are some of the largest you've ever seen, but the food is of uniformly poor quality. The first time I went, my skillet and pancakes were both practically inedible, not too mention sickening in size. The second time I learned my lesson, and ordered the yogurt and granola. I was seriously amused when the dish came and I recognized huge chunks of what looked like nature valley granola bars, obviously the source of granola. Hilarious. I'd rather eat at IHOP. read more

I read on yelp about the great pancakes and figured I'd give it a try. Well I ordered some eggs bacon and 1 pancake and the pancake was not good. I like mine to be very well cooked with no mushy feeling. It was mushy. My waitress was very nice and attentive. It's true the servings are a good size, but my hash browns were burnt, eggs were too hard, and the Pork Chops were thin, hard and over cooked and dry. The service was confusing. You did not know which server was at your table and no one comes back and checks your table to see if you need anything.
