Getting to learn my instruments (guitar + vocals) and having performances to look forward to gave me the push I needed to advance consistently. Through this program, I found my love for songwriting and performance, which has led to me perusing a career as a performing artist! The teachers + staff are so personable and accommodating which made it so easy for me to navigate the program, even when I was struggling. If you can afford the program for your kids, I would highly recommend it! I received invaluable experiences, relationships, and opportunities through School of Rock Cypress!

Will is one of the main instructors that i hear about because he is very versatile and reaches different genres of music. My son is big into rock and will has really brought out the musician in my kid. Adrian is another that I think is just great, he runs the band and the shows, you can tell how much he works with the kids. Very cool experience seeing the kids on stage. Couldn't recommend this location more, if your child is showing interest in music then it's totally worth checking out. Big thanks to Josh, Will, Adrian and all of the other instructors at this location.

She loved her instructors and dance classes so much that we decided to continue her dance lessons. In watching the instructors and students in class, we have observed wonderful songs, adorable routines, positive attitudes and encouragement, and the dance instruction involves a variety of teaching methods and activities that truly make the dance classes fun and interesting. It's been quite a long time since I was here and as I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by again today. Remembering how good they were last time, I ordered the Oma's Frikadellen (grandma's recipe for all-beef meatballs). I like a good German meatball and these were tender and juicy. There was a choice of red cabbage or sauerkraut as a side; having confirmed they made the sauerkraut in-house themselves, had to order that because I know it's super healthy to eat. Better yet, that sauerkraut was almost perfect with a great flavor, but not too tart and just really a delicious version. Honestly I could've eaten a huge bucket load of that sauerkraut and I may buy some to go someday just to have it on hand in my refrigerator; a slight warm and it would be a wonderful side to serve guests. Dessert was a wow! I wanted to try a dessert that they made themselves and so I couldn't help but go with one of the dessert specials of the day. There were several options available not on the menu and although it was tempting to try the tiramisu or one of the three versions of crème brûlée they make, I decided to go with their homemade limoncello cake which turned out to be a delicious choice that I'm very happy about. Waiter Ty said it was one of his favorite desserts here and I could taste why -- moist cake, flavor-filled filling, whipped cream and with blueberries to decorate the plate. In fact it was so yummy that I decided that so someday soon I would order one with a couple days notice and then take it to my family's place next time I go over for dinner - what I don't know is whether I'll tell them the truth or try and pretend that I made it myself LOL :-) Update: the next day I did call to order an entire cake and it didn't last very long once the family dug in, got gobbled up because it had an intense great lemon flavor, wonderful.

Seriously when I say intimate, I mean every seat in this place guarantees a good view of the stage. I will be checking their website for shows as this was a very nice experience!

The tickets were easy to buy online and I even got a student discount and my mom got the senior discount ($10 off each ticket). About a week before the show, I received and email that informed me of free parking at each show in their garage, which is almost unheard of when going to the theatre! We arrived about 30 minutes before the show started to see the theatre and it is beautiful! There could not be a bad seat in the whole place! We were in row G on the lower level and it was a great view!! The whole cast of the play was so fun and great at acting! I enjoyed the performance here just as much (if not more than) a show in the city at some of the larger theaters!! I can't wait to see what else this theatre has to offer and come back for another show!

Ya know, I could watch elementary kids perform Grease and I'd still like it cuz the musical has always been that nostalgic goodness I can't get enough of. It's definitely not broadway. It's low budget for the set and props. And tbh it looked like the actors weren't really into it and lacked enthusiasm. Idk. A few of them were really good though. I actually saw Grease on a cruise recently and it was a lot better there. There I left singing the songs in my head but here just didn't have that pizzazz. Doors open 15 minutes before showtime. There is a Concession bar but it wasn't open during intermission. And only water can be brought into the theatre per staff. Twix bar and water was $4. The restrooms are small and it's 1 urinal and 1 stall for everyone including the actors who I saw scrambling to use it during the intermission. Theatre itself has no bad seats. But Note the two chairs on each end of the front row are regular movable chairs and not the numbered theatre chairs attached to the ground. The play did start about 5 minutes later than curtain time as people kept trickling in. Programs are on laminated bills that you return at the end of the program.
