This is my go to spot for Indian food. I've sampled about half the vegetarian curries, and a few of the chicken curries. All have been delicious. I always ask for Indian spicy, and they do not disappoint. They've even made non-memu items that I requested. Thier Naan selections are tasty; I get the chili, garlic and, peshwari. I also really like samosa chat. The inside has aquate space for dine in. The counter is right as you enter the door, so take-out is easy. They have a buffet which seems to be popular. Staff have always been kind, friendly, and accommodating. Prices are relatively reasonable. My only complaint is take-out curry portions are kind of small. They are served in pint containers. For 12-16 bucks, it could be a little more generous. Nonetheless, I will continue to return for thier delicious food. read more

I know there are a lot of mixed reviews about this place; of course, I can only speak for myself. We've never had a bad experience, either with dine-in or take-out. It's a casual place and relatively small, but not cramped. We typically do take-out because it's close to home and the food is always satisfactory. I particularly like the chicken xacuti or pasanda - both sauces are savory and creamy and the meat is tender. The naan is alright, but you can crisp it up in the oven quick at home if you find it too bendy, though the texture isn't terrible by any means. I'm always greeted when I go in, either with a hello or a slight nod, but that's expected since I'm usually just picking up. Decided to give this place a try on Saturday night. We were the only table seated. Our first server was not friendly and rather unwelcoming. It says it is an Indian restaurant but it is Nepali, and was not the authentic Indian food experience I was looking for. Would not recommend the paneer vindaloo, the sauce tasted like tomato sauce. The chili naan was dry and did not have any butter/ghee. Even the vegetable momo were flavorless. Unfortunately, will not be back. The bread was like rubber. The guy at front desk just greets white people. No smile or hello to people from other backgrounds. We have been to this place for about 10 times and every time we had disappointment. We won't be back again now. On one occasion, we went there with our parents (total 3 people) and the owner rushed us to order because he was getting a bigger party of customers coming in shortly. We felt as we were wasting their time as we were just 3 vs the 15+ people who joined in later to the table next to us. It has always been a disappointment to visit this place. Four of us, two couples, visited the place last weekend. The food, by Indian standards, was mediocre, both by looks and taste. The staff was lazy. Would not come to the table to pick up buffet plates. Not once did the staff come and ask if we needed anything or how we were doing. After about an hour or so, while we were still conversing over a cup of tea, a very cold manager came and asked us to leave because it has been 'very long.' We ended up coming here because another place we wanted to try had a 1 hour wait. Nevertheless, we usually enjoy a nice Indian place. The place is nice and small with some colorful decor inside. It is clean and the tables are spaced out nicely. Food was okay, nothing that excited me. I wanted my chicken tikka masala to be very spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. The mixed appetizers and kabobs were okay, but still good. Service was mediocre. We had a hard time trying to get the server's attention. They kept rushing us to make our order. The bill had an automatic 18% service charge and we were only 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby. I guess some restaurants do that , but I don't like being told how much to give unless it is a big party. Was craving something filling after a long day of moving with my parents and we decided to get Indian food from Khana. What a good call because we left so happy, full and satisfied. We ordered the eggplant chaat to start, this was the only dish I took a chance on as I've never tried it before and it was so well-received by me and my family. The eggplant slices had a crispy texture and was flavored by the various sauce/garnish on top. We cleared the plate very quickly. The other main dishes were just as good, at least matching my expectations from having had them before if not exceeding them! We definitely ordered more than we could finish but glad that meant there were leftovers for later. Ok i just gotta say...that garlic naan?! Wow. Just wow! So fluffy and garlicky, deff a must try! The Lamb Xacuti is also really good, great sauce! The Biyrani comes with a really nice yogurt sauce as well. The space is rather small, I prefer to dine in over take out. The service is also pretty good, seems very family owned. read more

Indian food is one of my favorite types of cuisine, so I tend to have high standards for it. The food from Khana was so good I couldn't stop eating it! I convinced my 65 year old aunt and 95 year old Italian grandmother (both of whom can be picky when it comes to food) to get dinner from Khana. I don't know if my grandmother has ever had Indian food in her life, but we all loved everything we got! I had the Paneer Pasanda, which was nutty and creamy with a little bit of spiciness to it. I had never had that dish before but I wanted to branch out from my usual Aloo Gobis and Malai Koftas, and I'm glad I did! My aunt and grandmother split the Chicken Saag and Chicken Tikka and they had nothing to complain about! We all split the Garlic Naan and Vegetable Biryani, which was so flavorful and full of vegetables! The food is great, the service is a bit weird. I was there with a friend and we decided to have appetizers instead of a full on meal. The attendant/waiter was either not happy or didn't understand. But if he'd listened he would have realized that we were ordering several apps instead of just one he placed in the order. Second we ordered my favorite drink it was lacking flavor or ice. It was the warmest I have ever had lassi ever. Not sure that I will go back soon. Though I like to try it again because I don't want to give it a once and done chance. I wish I took photos , but I was to hungry . Let me say first time and will not be the last time I will visit this establishment. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. As a party of 7 (out numbered by children) they we very gracious and welcoming. I had the Chicken Tiki Masala which was delicious. Other items we ordered was the Khana bread basket which was an assortment of Naan bread to go with out meal. It was perfectly prepared and disappear quicker than it was placed on the table. The vegetable Mo dumplings were delicious. One of us had lamb curry that they said was delicious as well and it was their first time eating it. There are seafood dishes available as well. My work team and manager have taken me to many biryani places on the west coast so there are many benchmarks. This place is really good and perfect spot to satisfy any Indian food cravings. The biryani was very fragrant except I wasn't a fan of the cinnamon chunks left in (not a big deal though) and chicken was pretty dry. I would still order the biryani but probably with a different protein. Chicken Tikka masala was full of flavor, no issues with chicken dryness here. For appetizer type dishes, I recommend the Vegatable Samosas and MO:MO. When choosing Naan, there wasn't anything special about Naan or Garlic Naan. I am not well versed on Indian cuisine so ordering is sometimes tricky for me. The menu has Ingredients under the dish name which was helpful. I ordered the Chana Masala (mild) with an side order of Roti (with butter). Boyfriend ordered the Salmon Tandoor (medium) it came with rice and sauce on the side and a side order of garlic Naan. All were amazing and more than enough food we too some to go. Food did not arrive super quick but well worth the wait. Will order in from this restaurant again! I've been to Khana twice for dinner, and have LOVED it both times! I have never had trouble getting a table, and the servers are always the nicest people in the world! They serve papad (sort of a peppery, toasted, tortilla) with different chutneys/salsas as an appetizer and it's always cooked to perfection along with having very flavorful chutneys. I have consistently been WOWed by their garlic naan and chicken curries. I've gotten their butter chicken curry (not on menu, but you can ask for it!) and their chicken tikka masala curry. TIP: If you're a spicy person, tend towards the higher levels of spice (indian spicy/extra spicy). Their mango lassi is thick and has a strong yogurt flavor, it's definitely from fresh mangoes/ mango pulp because the mango flavor is so clean and crisp! I really want to try their banana lassi (I've never heard of it before!) I want to try their biryani and tandoor dishes as well, but I have plenty of time for that! Khana is definitely going to become at least a once a week venture for me. Can't wait to try the buffet! read more

This place makes all my Indian cuisine dreams come true. I love the servers for their patience and willingness to explain dishes clearly when I have questions. The heat levels are on point and I think match what I at least expect when you're choosing mild to medium to spicy. I like it hot, so I am spicy level all the way! And boy does that pack a nice heat punch that lasts for awhile after the meals over. There is a nice selection of dishes from appetizers if you want to try a few small samples to generously sized entrees. There are vegetarian and vegan offerings, poultry and seafood dishes to choose from. Desserts, lassi and chai Marsala tea as well. I like to try a new dish each visit and they are accommodating when possible if you need to swap something out. I always love my servers, they are happy and pleasant to chat with. And at times they remember what I've ordered in the past so I can try new dishes. Great personal attention and customer service! I've eaten out at a good number of locations offering Indian cuisine from NYC to Philly to Out West and for my tastes this is one of my chart toppers. They also offer takeout so feel free to call in your order and it's usually ready within 20-30 minutes so it's hot and ready to take home. I've only ever experienced one mistake with my takeout order but I've noticed since then they repeat my order back to me so I would catch it before it happens again. Never has. Dine in, take out and be prepared to have leftovers since that's been my experience. Or be stuffed, that's what I normally hear other patrons blissfully saying aloud. The rice was flaky, however, it was missing a touch of salt. Garlic nan was delicious. I do have an advice be more generous with the amount of nan. If I'm ordering two meals the least someone can expect is a bit more nan. Also, for that price $30 expect a bit more food. read more
