I've been with Khan Communications for about 8 years, doing different programming throughout. They are an amazing service for my 14 year old autistic son. I can't say enough about this amazing program, Naushine and her staff are amazing!
The volunteers who take time out of their day to spend time with our kids to help with speech, to model different aspects of daily living and life are vital to the program. As a parent I can't imagine my son not being in the program. During Covid the chatter program did online zoom meetings weekly and through the summer to give our kids some normalcy and continued friendships my son desperately needed.
Kathy who has been with the program for as long as we have been there is a part of my family now! We have been through so much together, learning, growing, puberty and so much more beyond her speech language duties. She has changed my sons life and mine as well. We will always hold her in the highest regard, as her love for our kids is more than how I can express it in words. read more
