I brought him to their office for his intake assessment, which was difficult for him. I discussed the new group with him for months in order to prepare him as he is autistic. After 2 years of waiting I was told on the day he was to start the group that he could not be accepted into this group and would be unable to attend. This organization has done more harm than good for my son and are not accepting of individuals who are not neurotypical.

The owner is horrible to attempt to work with as a family. She refuses to understand family needs…read moreand accommodate request for legit reasons. Clearly she doesn't treat employees very good when they quit after just a few weeks. Will never recommend this agency to any family. Feel bad for her employees as her management skills lack.

Great group of ladies will not doubt that…read more But the speech therapist sarah, kept denying my son speech assists to help him learn with his new tongue movement after his tongue tied procedure. All other speech therapists i spoke with has confirmed yes it can create delay with speech. As being tongue tied does restrict tongue movement for those syllable sounds etc. I just want to point out, even though one may say oh no he is fine does not need speech but your gut feels else wise. Listen to your mama gut and find a speech therapist that will LISTEN to you. Do not let From Play to Words bully you down and say your wrong. Ive had other multiple speech therapist say yes it can affect speech. End of day parents... listen to your Gut. You are the only ones who know your kid.
