My experience at Doctor Romero's office was the worst of my life. I escorted my 75 year old mother…read morethere to see him; we should have known it was a bad idea when we saw boxes labeled "scizzors" on the shelf. Romero is rude and dismissive and basically on vacation, he strikes me as a doctor that is not yet ready to retire but is past the point of working- or even being compassionate- he is a d*ck in so many ways - but can mostly be seen by his general disposition - we were referred to him by doctor P. who said that Dr. Romero was going to perform surgery on my mom's hernia/gal bladder- but it seems that Mr. Romero can't be bothered with performing surgery, he eluded to this fact when he told us that Dr. Zito was going to do it- he then berated my mom about not knowing who Dr. Zito was, he was her doctor? And he said that she should try and remember the doctors she sees... my mom asks where he was located, he couldn't tell us, but assured us we "would be in good hands like allstate." later i find out that Dr. Zito- HAS BEEN RETIRED FOR YEARS!!! but we are in good hands right? and we are the one with the problem because we didnt remember seeing him?? riiight a couple of other things pissed me off during our short time in his office- if Dr. Romero thinks you should stop talking he will put his hand up (in a talk to the hand fashion) VERY PROFESSIONAL. Also my mom has swelling in her feet, which is very recent- I told her she should ask him about that and make sure one thing doesn't have to do with the other- to which his response was "I don't have all day to sit here and talk medicine with you" yes, but do u have 30 seconds? Cause that's all that question required. This man needs to retire, or be put out of the business and stop collecting copays for calling everyone sweetie and caressing their faces, really its not needed especially in a professional setting. When I went back into the office to tell the receptionist Dr. Zito is retired -Romero had left the patient in the room to tell the receptionists- word for word- "If anyone calls I will take it, I'll just be in here doing nothing" I know humor, this was not it... this guy is just collecting a check he is arrogant and im thankful we saw his true colors I wouldn't let this guy take my mom out for a cup of coffee let alone cut her open

A month after the visit my doctor submitted a second review to my insurance without informing me or…read morereturning my call. 2 weeks later I was approved and started my medication. I made a follow up appointment . At this point it looks like she gets the job done but just doesn't communicate well or have anyone in her office communicate. But to me as long as the job is done that's good enough for me

I found Dr. Nanda Ramsaroop through ZocDoc which is in network for my insurance. She is a…read morewonderful doctor. I came in for a new patient visit for a sore throat and had also requested my annual physical. My appointment was early in the morning. Dr. checked me out and what not, turns out i just have allergies. Dr. asked if I wanted to do my annual bloodwork during the new patient visit as I had already fasted and not eaten breakfast. I said sure. She stated the second half of my physical (physical body inspection) would be done in a month. Later on I receive a bill from the lab for my bloodwork. They submitted my annual bloodwork as not part of my annual, which is unfair because i was under the impression that is part of an annual and my insurance covers the bloodwork. I called their office to explain and understand the confusion. The front desk rep said that bloodwork is not part of my annual and they would pull it again in a month. (my blood work came out completely normal). i asked the rep then why did they pull my blood, etc. she told me just because and an annual exam involves an EKG. I was baffled. I've never heard of that before. I end the call. I call back and speak to another rep who was understanding and asked me to email a copy of the bill and they would resubmit it. They never did. Fast forward, i go in for the second part of my physical asking if they resubmitted it and they say no and its not part of my physical. I advised them they do not have my permission to pull my blood again because they already did it. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated they would resubmit it. It has now been a month and I've followed up 3 times with no response. This is ridiculous and although Dr. is great, I don't think I want to come back.
