I found Dr Nanda Ramsaroop after doing some research online. I was looking for a Primary Care physician near me under my insurance plan, and i was happy I found Dr Nanda Ramsaroop as the reviews I read were good. I had a tele-visit first and received some advice. I had recently had a blood test and so i faced them the results. I was waiting for a follow up call, email, but i must have misunderstood. Finally when offices started opening again i called and made an in-person visit. The waiting room was shared with another office, had it some chairs blocked off but people were standing around waiting. No one was checking or monitoring and there was no hand sanitizer available. I was asked to fill out paperwork but i did not see any sanitizing of the clipboards and pens in between people. I'm glad i brought my own hand sanitizer. The people are all very nice who work at Dr Nanda's Northeast Primary Care. The young man who checked me in, the young ladies who took my blood. Dr Nanda herself has great bedside manner and did a thorough exam. I didn't have to pay anything on my way out, we'll see how the billing goes because i read one review here that has me worried about that.

Dr. Sharda (Ramsaroop) is a wonderful physician and person. The office, which had some issues now seems more focused on improved service.

I had been referred to Passport Health by Contagious Disease Northwell Health because Northwell…read morecould not handle 4 clients (not patients) at the same time, and could only give us 4 separate appointments. We contacted Passport Health and we were sent an email with an intake history form that could be filled out on line, thereby reducing the cost of the initial consultation by $25.00. We gave them the e-mail addresses of the involved parties, and only 1 email was sent. It required 2 additional calls to finally get all the forms- sloppy administration. We made an appointment for a Saturday at 1:30 PM. The office was located in a very nice office building in Long Island. The only problem was the building was closed, and we found out later that since there was not much business occurring on Saturdays, the security person at the front desk leaves at 12:00 PM. We had to wait for someone to exit the building in order to gain access. When we got to the office, the waiting room was a pitiful sight with just a few chairs and a few tables. This was not typical of my experience with most health providers offices I have been to. The room was decorated (if you call it that) with a few Passport Health posters, intake forms, and pens laying on the table. There were no magazines, no TV, no receptionist or reception desk, just a big old empty room - it looked very unprofessional. The rest of the office was no better. It had a "fly by night" look to it, meaning that they could clear out the entire office in a few hours if necessary. We were then brought i to the consultation room where we spoke with Rachel who was very nice. Rachel is an RN, not a Nurse Practitioner or a Physicians Assistant. There really was no need for any consultation because we filled out the forms in their entirety, and there were no further questions necessary on our part. We knew what we were there for. Rachel spoke with us about other vaccinations we should consider having in addition to the Yellow Fever vax and the anti-malarial pills. Prior to going there, we had gone on line, and the cost of the vax was supposed to be $170.00 as per Google. After the consult (if you call it that) we were told that the vax would be $395.00 per person, not $170 we saw on-line. When Rachel saw the $170 price on-line, she told us that this was Google AI quoting the price, and no prices are listed on the Passport Health website. She was not willing to honor the $170. We opted to leave due to deception and price gouging on the part of Passport Health. We did pay in full for the consultation visit for the 4 totaling $306.00. We were also told that if we wanted the anti-malarial medication, we would need to schedule a separate video consult with a Passport Health's Nurse practitioner for an additional $35/person in order to get the script. This is how we resolved the situation. We signed up with GoodRX, and received a coupon that allowed us to purchase the same $395.00 vaccine for $166.00 dollars. My family physician has provided us with the script (that Passport health did not) and will giving us the vax. My advice- stay away from Passport Health. I have been and still am a health professional with 42 years of clinical experience. They wasted my time and took $306.00 which by all rights they should not be entitled to due to their deceptive practices.

I never have to wait any longer then you would in any doctors office but I think the wait time depends on what provider you see. Dr Dragonetti does not rush you out of the exam room and is patient and listens to what is wrong and is always spot on with her diagnosis. I can not rate any of the other providers at this group because I always see Dr Dragonetti !! If you want a doctor who truly cares about helping patients and is kind and a great doctor I would make an appointment with dr Dragonetti.

I wish we had chosen Happy & Healthy from the beginning, but glad we made the switch when we did, as we now have a lifelong relationship with the practice. The staff at Happy & Healthy have been absolutely wonderful. So much so that we've recommended Dr. Rubin & her team to many other families. The staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and many of them parents themselves, so they truly understand and are able to answer effectively any questions you have about your child's care. No question is too ridiculous - they never make you feel bad for asking anything and are very clear when answering your questions. They even have a wealth of resources on their website, which I often find myself sharing with other parent friends that don't even live in the area but are looking for some sound medical advice from a professional. (probiotic info sheet FTW) I'm writing this review now, after having to bring my child in last week for a checkup as they were feeling unwell. We saw Dr. Reich and it was our first time seeing her. She came into the office and without me even saying anything, she knew about my child's medical history - I appreciate the fact that she looked at my child's chart in advance - it was as if she's known us this entire time. Dr. Reich actually just called me to follow up and see how my child was feeling now. Having this level of care and service is so appreciated. I would recommend this practice to anyone that is looking for quality care with a caring team of professionals. Thank you Dr. Rubin & team for all that you do! You're the best!

I was pleased to be taken in early since I arrived early - a rare experience at a doctor's office! My one complaint was with the nurse staff - they were also very courteous and thorough, but I haven't had such an unpleasant blood test experience in years. After 10-15 minutes of tourniqueting, poking, prodding, and needling, I finally gave up and asked the nurse to send me to a lab instead. I mean, I am kind of used to this, tiny veins and low bp and all, but I wish the nurse was either better trained or more aware of her own capabilities on this procedure. Beyond that, it was a great experience and I will definitely keep Dr. Ali as my doctor.

After waiting for awhile, knowing that every patient had an assigned scheduled appointment, the receptionist walks in laughing and going on with another tech. of the office. This lady is rude, inconsiderate and wrong for allowing the receptionist area to be unattended and not having any consideration that patients were waiting. One patient left, another was upset and complaining. The area is well cleaned and spacious but the reception area needs training in hospitality. I do not believe that any reception area should be left unattended when there are patients scheduled to see the Doctor. Maybe they need to hire another receptionist to help this lady or maybe a staff should cover for the lady when she steps out. But I found the place to be unprofessional and inconsiderate. Both the older lady with glasses from the podiatrist office and the young gentleman with glasses from the 2nd floor, need a training in hospitality. They have a mean looking face as if they are being bothered and do not greet with a nice demeanor. Why be in this field of work if you going to be nasty to people! The waiting period to see the podiatrist was long and the visit was 10 mins. Hopefully things change.
