I really wanted to like these guys. Communication was good and they were confident in their work. I…read morehad two chimneys cleaned, new caps with screens, and masonry repair on the top of one of the chimneys. During a wind storm one of the caps blew off. I called the company to see if they warrantied it and was told that weather was not their problem. Funny, because after the guy was done installing everything I specifically asked if one of these blew off there was any warranty, and was told everything was covered for one year. No offer to reattach was made, so I had someone else look at it. Found the chimney cap was only glued on and not attached with any hardware at all. The sealant was cooked by the heat and just let go. Not only that, the cap was the wrong style. Nothing fit inside or outside of the chimney pipe, it merely rested flat on the top and was slathered in a massive amount of black sealant. I was told that obviously this could never have been expected to last through the heat of use or any wind. A correct diameter one was found quickly and clamped in place. I don't understand why they couldn't have just told me they didn't have a proper cap instead of wasting my money.

We interviewed 4 other contractors but he was the only one that gave us ideas on how to make it better than I could have imagined! What originally started as a single concrete slab in the back yard turned into a show piece walkway in the front yard and a back yard patio that was nice enough to add a gazebo! You would think that with all the extra add ons it would have been way over budget but it ended up costing much less than all the other quotes! We are looking at having Jose put in a new 28'x28' slab in the other side of the yard for a possible basketball hoop or, gosh, anything. I really recommend this company. The quality of the work was far below what I expected -- the finish was uneven, the edges were sloppy, and the stairs don't even look straight. What's worse, when I tried to raise my concerns, they acted like it wasn't a big deal and didn't take responsibility at all. The stairs already show cracks and rough spots after only a short time, which clearly means poor workmanship and no attention to detail. I paid good money expecting a professional job, but instead I got something that looks rushed and unprofessional. They might be nice people, but being "nice" doesn't make up for bad work and no accountability. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone who wants quality, reliability, or respect for your property and your time.
