The worst thing that happened was that my phone ran out of juice right before I got on it, and I was using Uber to get from the park and ride station back home, and I had to sit on the station floor to charge up my phone enough to be able to let my wife know I was safe and to be able to call Uber. Also, park and ride's card reader was down. Now I was prepared for any eventuality and brought cash in case there was a problem, but I hardly ever have cash on me to speak of, and usually, a broken card reader would stop me cold. I hate driving, though, and it was an excellent alternative to getting behind my own wheel.

He was on the bus that caught fire a couple of weeks ago, and lately the air conditioning in the bus has gone out before the bus has reached it's destination. When I took the Sawdust route there were a couple of buses that had seats that were falling apart (they were in the back) and could not be used. IMO these are completely unacceptable. For a $10 round trip, not to mention federal subsidies a couple of years ago, the district needs to prioritize to either repair or replace the buses for the safety and comfort of its passengers!

Finally the driver texted me--after he was already 25 minutes late--saying he was stuck in "traffic." I put that in quotes because it was 2:00 on a Saturday.
