I was looking for a good company with infrastructure and solid management. somehow the jobs are designated to certain recruiters. they send one email for the week with about 8 jobs to who knows how many applicants-and random scrappy jobs per text. I felt my resume was not looked at beforehand & once I inquired about their process it all went downhill. On 3 occasions I was consistent/persistent on how I can land a role. I was encouraged to apply on my own- but you all are in the job placement field. I was ignored and given the "it's been busy here" bs but I knew it was personal when no attempt after their "rush" not even a day after was attempted. If you dont have enough staff in that big ass building and dont have the range of good pay rates, then shut it down. Rent is minimal $1100 tf!? After making a request to have another recruiter, I started calling the general number after a $18ph job slipped by. I understand Im not the only fighting to land a job but also a lot are hiring. She is positive, wonderful, attentive and truly goes above and beyond to place you. I was out interviewing within a week of our meeting and landed a temp-to perm position shortly thereafter. Wages are within the range I specified and my particular employer is a stable, long established company. They are great to work with! I am still within the temp-to-hire period but expect to have a permanent offer extended to me soon. There is no fee to the applicant to use AppleOne. Even if you are out "pounding the pavement" and applying for jobs directly, keep in mind that some employers just don't advertise all of their open positions. There are also some that have agencies handle all prospective employee screenings. It's worth a shot and truly helps to have someone else marketing your job experience, skills and talent.
