Absolutely terrible. I think they've invented the 'Slow-food restaurant'.
Slow service. Terrible behaviour towards customers and employees. I have never seen such disgusting attitude towards fellow coworkers.
"Managers" are not good at "managing" their work load. I have heard several employees talking to each other saying how they've been given either none or 1 shift per week if lucky enough. Completely overstaffed, in result of this, employees are being treated unfairly with hours.
Food - cold when served, time keeping isn't something they are good at. It is of course all down to management though.
Some employees need to learn to be polite, a 'Miss Kirsty' (who had served me that day) was completely immature and rude towards me, luckily I had seen her name tag. If being served at a fast food restaurant, I expect to be treated politely, not ill mannered. 'Kirsty' was not only rude and immature towards me after bringing back my order (because it was cold), she had also gone at the back to "collect my order, fresh" but all I could hear was her moaning at fellow coworkers, calling me a rude name, "that b***h over there", telling them that I was being rude myself. The fact that employees think we as customers cannot hear them from the front desk is inexplicable, rude and astonishingly abysmal.
I'd like to say that I had a great experience having a meal with my family at KFC Yeovil as a nice treat but unfortunately the ill mannered employees, bad management and horrible behaviour has made me think otherwise.
I shall return to KFC Yeovil once more some time soon, to see if after my review any improvements have been made. Hopefully this 'Kirsty' has either been let go or given a disciplinary warning of some sort.
As it stands KFC Yeovil should not even be considered a restaurant. If it carries on the way it is now, I assure you that it will close down by the end of this year. I wish I could wish them good luck but after that horrible experience, I don't think I can. read more
