My husband and I ate here for our lunch breaks... big mistake. My husband got a chicken sandwich, 2 bites in he felt something stab his gums. He goes to the bathroom and comes out with a little sliver of plastic that got jammed between his teeth in his gums from taking a bite of the chicken. PLASTIC. What is there really to say I guess? It's KFC. Fried chicken is fried chicken right? Well, I guess there are some places that have superb friend chicken (with all their secret breading blends and different ways of frying the chicken or whatever) and then there is fast food fried chicken. This KFC, admittedly, was a little lower than that. It is rare for me to bust out the ketchup packets on the first bite of a chicken breast. I am usually very generous when it comes to giving businesses the benefit of the doubt but you should've seen this piece of dry chicken in all its barren glory; it really was a sight to behold. And, as expected, the breast was unbearably dry and yet another day was saved by Heinz. The drumsticks were good but as we all know, it's not hard to make dark meat taste good, you just need to cook it. The cashier was also pretty mean. She had a huge stank face on when we entered as if asking, "Why are you guys here?" As we were making our order, she kept glaring at me and replied in this really awkward (bordering on rude) monotone voice. Sorry for wanting some chicken I guess? BUT she did smile at me when I went up to ask for ketchup packets so again, Heinz saves the day. read more

I ordered a unique combination one day, and the person ordering my food suggested a certain "meal" that included exactly what I wanted and lowered the price over ordering each piece individually. I've been back numerous times. Some employees tell me that meal doesn't exist, some say it does, but I have never been charged the same amount twice for the same exact order. read more

I was just there a week ago and the buffet if thats what you would wanna call it. The chicken wasn't very fresh neither was anything else that was on the buffet. I do remember when growing up that this was the place for a good buffet, now hearing that there is a new manager, he obviously doesn't care about service or customers let a lone fresh food being available to customers, I think this KFC has gone down hill fast and lost a-lot of business. We just had the worst customer service ever. I wouldn't normally care much but the rude service we got was something that needs to be addressed and the franchise owner should know about this. We came there today 06/16/2018 at around 14:30 and we encountered this girl cashier ( I should have got her name, caucasian with a blond hair, I wished it was the guy who served us, he was more professional from the way he acted). Sorry, no pics, we didn't stay to eat the food. We came in recently on a weekday at around 4pm. Neither the restaurant nor the drive thru were busy, so there was no excuse for the buffet to be OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING on the hot line. There were a few biscuits and 5 pieces of old chicken - 3 wings and 2 drumsticks. We had to ask them to refill the buffet. One of the girls scraped the old dried mashed potatoes stuck to the side of the dish onto the "fresh" potatoes. The buffet was dirty, food had been spilled everywhere and left to attract the flies. When we went to wash our hands before eating, we both almost slipped on the floor from the grease. There was no point in saying anything to the manager - she knew the state her restaurant was in, and was fine with that. We left. read more

Went in after work and ordered a pot pie and famous bowl. Took about 25 mins to get my food. Had one guy cooking the what I assume the manager in the back and two people in the lobby laughing and messing around. The pop corn chicken was the hold up. I was just about to ask for a refund so I could leave and they brought my food. The pot pie was no longer hot and was soggy because it sat in a bag on the counter well they took 25 mins to make a famous bowl. Place looked out of order and messy. Not dirty but messy. We stopped by for a quick meal on the way from California to Michigan. We were exhausted and didn't pay attention to the specials. We ordered the 8 piece meal. It wasn't until after we paid that we noticed the special deal for 8 piece meal that includes one extra side AND cheaper. Since we already paid we didn't said anything. If I were the cashier I would have mention that to the customer. After we got back on the road and started driving, we found out that she gave us the wrong side dish. Every single one of the tables had food on them. There was food on the wall where we were sitting. The macaroni I ordered looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time. It looked like rubber. It looked so unappetizing that I didn't even take a bite, and a passerby pointed at it and said "yucky." When I asked for fresh, all I got was a refund and "have a nice day." As a chain restaurant you can expect it to offer pretty much the same as other KFCs across the country at the same quality. If you like KFC, you'll like the food at this KFC. This particular location, however, has really suffered some PR problems due to poor management in the past. The most recent manager, on the job about a month now, has been a breath of fresh air. We had such high hopes. Then a May 2 drug bust involving the assistant manager and another employee, and allegedly implicating the store premises itself (though the press says no evidence was found on the grounds and the arrests took place in a residence), shut down the restaurant for investigation. Our plan? We intend to help the manager out (a total stranger to us) by our more frequent patronage of this business and encouraging others to do the same. The employees involved were fired, and we want the effort to redeem this restaurant's reputation to get it back on track. It's good food. It's nicely priced. And it's an excellent location. Come on, people. Help 'em out. They've suffered enough already, for Pete's sake. read more

Went there tonight to drive-thru. Ordered three items. 2 Potato Bowl's, 4 chicken thighs and 3 biscuits. Repeated order 3 times to order taker. When I got home only 1 Potato Bowl, 3 chicken thighs and 1 breast. At least they got the number of biscuits right. Tried calling them 18 times within 1/2 hour always busy. We like their food, but I also like my food hot and fresh. I don't like to order off the menu, and then see them take my order from the buffet and the chicken isn't all that hot and the potato wedges kind of limpy. Their prices are higher so I guess I expect my order to be hot and fresh since I am paying more. Sometimes their high school personal can be rather pathetic if a manager isn't working and keeping them busy. Their drive up can be kind of slow but it's usually hot and fresh and they have one lady, I forget her name, that is the best employee they have ever had. I stopped at the restaurant last night about 7:30 and the store had several customers in there. There was food in the buffet that looked fresh, and there was plenty of staff there to prepare my food. I ordered a meal to go and they were low on the chicken strips so the manager came up to the front to ask me if he put them in the oven. Told him that would be great. The food was ready in no time. While I waited, the nice gal at the counter gave me a cup so that I could have a soda while I waited. That was very nice. The store seemed clean and there were people cleaning in the back kitchen. I am very picky about these things. I have been there often shortly before close and they were very nice and helpful. read more

The food was good , however the staff was not. In the time we were there we heard several employees cursing including the supervisor. july 17, 2012 haven't been to kfc for long time so decided to try it out for our night out...unfriendly cashier, buffet looked like a mess. first get my pop...no ice due to not keeping up in hot humid weather....the food should be hot and delicious but was not ...only hotter than heck in the building...had to ask for chicken as only two bad looking pieces on the buffet...smallest selection on a kfc buffet i have ever seen. three types of chicken, soupy mashed potatoes, dried up gravy, dried up bisquit,some weird watery vegetables, and dried up apple goop. when we asked for chicken he put out five pieces, and there were 10 people eating buffet. the workers hid out in the kitchen and you had to stand by the counter for 5 minutes if you needed anything....why not close the place down....it was actually cooler inside our vehicle when we left than it was inside the restaurant and the vehicle was in the hot sun for 45 minutes....not one good thing to say............. read more
