After a previous bad experience where we didn't get our food we decided to try Wing Kyng again…read more Both boneless and bone in wings were cooked well. The potatoes had great flavor but would have liked them a tad more crispy. They have a wide variety of sauce choices which is great. I wish they had better descriptions for some of them though. The Grippos dry rub and the Cajun lemon pepper were great but the dirt bowl classic just had some sort of flavor that made everyone with us dislike them...maybe cinnamon but can't put my finger on it. Overall they are worth a try if you want variety. If you want just a classic hot buffalo wing there are better options.

He got the Brisket and quarter chicken $26 with skillet green beans and smoke house spuds with $2.50 up charge for cheese and bacon. Overall everything was good. The pork ribeyes were cooked perfectly but the sweet bourbon glazed wasn't much more than a teriyaki sauce and very salty. They were out of the quarter chicken so they substituted it with 2 wings which I didn't think was an even trade. The smoke house spuds were good but the bacon was chewy. The ambience was nice, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Even though for the most part the food was good I don't think it justified the prices.

I love hot wings. I want this restaurant to succeed as I support locally owned restaurants. But,…read morein three trips they've always been out of something. Friday, they were out of pickles, which was the only veggie on the chicken sandwich. No problem, thanks for letting me know, I went somewhere else and came back today. Ordered my food, and no mention of the pickle shortage. Great! Then after I paid, the cashier says "we were out of pickles." I figure I will give it a shot anyway. The pickles would have helped, but they wouldn't have saved the sandwich. I wasn't a big fan. The patty wasn't a breast but a preformed patty with the consistency of a chicken nugget, fairly dry. Even fast food places aren't serving this type of preformed patty anymore. When I go to a local restaurant and pay $12 for a sandwich and fries, I'm expecting something fresher and more closely resembling food than this. I am not giving up on The Wing Place but they really need to overhaul what they are doing if they want to be successful.

QUALITY & TASTE- Everyone has their own opinion of preferences of taste. This meal was tasty and not too spicy. The beer cheese and pretzels were so good!! SERVICE & HOSPITALITY- One aspect of a great experience at an establishment is the service of the staff. At this location, the staff was very friendly. At this establishment, they had a huge menu! However, if you are trying to eat healthier you may only find a few options. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK? Is this too expensive for the quality of food? The Philly was also bland and an odd texture; almost like the meat was over mixed in a mixer and reduced to a dog food texture. The chicken wings were cooked well and had a good flavor.
