Great food and I love me some fried chicken too. The chicken tastes better here than Popeyes. The place is clean and has great service. They also have a drive through and it's in walking distance to hotels like Quality Inn, Best Western, Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn just to name a few. read more

This was probably my worst experience here. I dont usually come to KFC and this is the exact reason why. We waited 20 minutes to get our order. There was no one doing anything in the back but standing around. The tables and floors were dirty. No one even apologized for our 20 minute wait for a $5 fill up. Poor use of time. read more

The worst KFC in the country! Drive up to the order station, wait and wait and wait, then repeat your order 4 or 5 times, apparently the inter one works so poorly that whoever is taking the Oder cannot understand. "One spicy chicken sandwich, sandwich only". That has to be clarified 5 times, yes, sandwich only, not combo meal. Also order a small coke slaw. That is all. Then you get to the window, this is where real fun begins. They only put in chicken sandwich. Add Cole slaw. Sticker on the window says prefer tap capable credit card. Kid running the card returns with "your card was declined", no my card is just fine, please run it again. Ok, I will try tap. Card works fine, as always. Why didn't he do the tapless charge in the first place? Likes to waste time? Copying my card? I mention to him to inform the manager that "your intercom works very poorly", I get a blank stare on Mexican kids face. If you think this funny, I have been to this KFC 3 times over last month, always the same story. If there are cars, be prepared to waste 15 minutes of your life in the line, because things are just not moving. I nominate this place for the "worst KFC in the country award". I recently went and I was not happy. I ordered 4 famous bowls, a Mac and cheese, coleslaw and popcorn chicken. I got 1 famous bowl, Mach potato's, coleslaw and popcorn chicken. So when I told them and they gave me 2 more famous bowls and a whole bowl filled with Mac and cheese. So I went back and told them. They took my Mac and cheese and gave me another famous bowl. The service is not only slow they are rude and incompetent. The workers cannot take a simple order and when corrected get an attitude. The management is no better they get an even bigger attitude than the staff. The cleanliness of the establishment matches the attitude of the workers cruddy. read more

This is probably the worst display of fast food and customer service i have ever experienced. We ordered food in the drive thru. Pulled up to the window and were asked to pull over to the side as our food was going to take 10 minutes to prepare. After waiting for 20 minutes in the spot we were directed to park i called the restaurant to find out what was taking so long (due to how late it was i assumed the store was closed. When they answered they proceeded to tell me that they assumed we had left since they could not see our car ... in the spot where they directed us to park! They then tell me that the fryer had broken but they suddenly fixed it and got our food in and cooking. After another 10 minute wait they brought out our food , the individual that brought it to us bad mouthed his coworkers then walked away. We checked the order only to find out some of it was missing! Needless to say this was an awful experience and we will not be supporting this establishment in any way shape or form! read more

I've lived in Tulare for about 4 years now I've never gone to this KFC and had my order done properly . I've worked at a KFC before when I was in high school and I know how stuff should be done they just really don't care about the customers they will be having a whole conversation in the drive through window ignoring the customers ! So unprofessional I need to go in there & SPEAK WITH ADAM PERSONALLY because that's just not right . One star may be too many. I am a local Tulare resident and I'm not sure why I keep trying to have a good experience here. The staff is reminiscent of that of the DMV, slow, non-interested in offering any service, even irritated you stopped in, oh - and did I mention slow? They are always out of something. We just ran outback of this, it will be 12 minutes for that. I have never come to this location and not had to wait for something I ordered - chicken tenders, biscuits, legs. Why in the world would a KFC be out of biscuits or chicken tenders? Much rather eat at Popeyes across the street. read more

I repeatedly would go to KFC in Tulare off of Prosperity Ave and order the Famous Bowl. Every single time I would go to order the Bowl, I ordered it exactly like " light mashed potatoes, extra corn, and no cheese " . Today was the day I have had enough due to me having to walk from my hotel 3 DAMN TIMES. At first, I walked there ordered the food, got back to my hotel and seen my food was popcorn crumbs of chicken. I walked back to have it remade by the manager herself. The manager took my receipt and threw it away along with the mistake food. I waited over the time she had said which was 17 minutes for it all made fresh and new. I waited about 25-30 minutes. After I received my food, I walked back to my hotel and opened the food to find the same exact thing. I walked back to get a refund on my food the doors were locked and I had to walk to the drive thru window to try to get my refund. The manager said she couldn't find my receipt anywhere after I seen it pop up on her screen. She said she couldn't find the receipt and that without the receipt she couldn't do anything. I was beyond angry at this point and was being told the manager could call someone else to see what could be done. At that point as well, I said " fuck this and this place " I no longer will be going there and wish I paid off card instead of cash. This KFC and the stupid ass workers are not able to make meals properly. I will be telling everyone to NEVER go there due to the lack of orders being made properly from workers. Let me not forget to inform you all, the lit cleanup workers who go out and throw trash away walked around freely dirty where the food is located and touched a ton of stuff behind the counter and around the drive thru window. I'm totally disappointed and disgusted now. If you made it down to this part, I'm sorry you have to see my complaint but these bitches kept continuously pissing me off with my order. No line at the drive thru and pleanty of napkins, the only good things about this location. Took over 10 minutes to get our order out and they forgot to give us our biscuits. Potato wedges were cold. Not pleased. When I drive thru Tulare again I won't be stopping here. read more
